@Max666 I totally agree with you. Donald being a president was good for everyone. He was one-of-a-kind president...

The silver lining in all this is Dems wont get the senate so it'll be hard to unwind all Trumps reforms. Also, due to the fraud allegations (which will be inconclusive), Biden will have the 'illegitimate president' stamp on his forehead even more than Trump did (during the Russia hoax) and this will make life real hard for him.

I found it odd how in his acceptance speech his main theme was unity, yet Americans have never been more divided historically and literally half the country thinks he and his party is corrupt, I somehow can't see that changing.

@Max666 Trump nurtured the division of the nation with his speeches. He incited division at every turn. "The Dems are doing [insert whatever here]" (I don't support either democrats or Republicans exclusively by the way). "The radical left" speeches, the fear-mongering. All this just nurtured the divide. Sure his policies aren't inherently negative, depending on your point of view. But, his rhetoric was inherently divisive. Much hand waiving, boasting, and pointing fingers.

If everyone judged everything by rhetoric and symbolism and everything had to be nice and politically correct everyone would be weak and gullible and nothing would get done. And the division itself has been caused by the left leaning too left, not by the right. The right has remained unwavering and solid. When one side leans too far one way it causes division. You can't say the Democrats now are the same party of yesteryear. You can with the Republicans. Yes, he's said some inflammatory things about people but can you honestly say he was inaccurate, calling people idiots who were, or Rosie O'Donald a slob? etc, etc.
