Hi guys. So, besides porn addiction, I'm also addicted to video games and eating junk foods.
Should I quit all of them at once, or pick two of them only?
    Over.

Don't quit all of them at once. First get rid of PMO and then over a period of time get rid of other habits.
If you start to quit all at the same time, chances are you are going to fail.....
    Best of luck

I recommend that you give up your habits 1 at a time and replace it each time with a healthy (but pleasurable) habit. Habits can be good! Just need to pick the right ones :)

  4. I value the cold turkey approach. If you tell yourself it is wrong to jerk off, but that it's okay to constantly eat junk food, then you are contradicting yourself, and this system might fall apart and lead to relapse.

My main three are gooming, cooming, and toobing (vidya games, porn, and youtube). I have had success quitting one at a time, but also quitting all three. The withdrawal is harder when you quit all three, but you snap out of it way faster. Just make sure you have consistent and effective ways of removing stress from your life, since that is one of the main roles of addiction. Like others have suggested, pick at least one thing to do instead. Maybe go on a walk every day, play an instrument whenever you're bored. Read a chapter of a book a day. Clean up the messiest room in the house - make it a project for the week. Build a workout routine. Stuff like that.

tks for advice tho. I guess Ima allow myself to toobing, since whenever I play games, I can't stop myself. Even when I feel truly thirsty or feel like peeing, damn, I still can't stop myself from playing game, lmao

I would say experiment and see since at the end of the day its different for everyone. Some people quit better by slowly quitting but for others, one indulgence leads to other indulgences. The most intensive measure would be just quit all at once. Its the hardest but also the quickest way if you can stick it out. If you fail, then you just go smaller, not the end of the world. For pure cold turkey with everything its very important you have replacement activities and things to do to alleviate urges. I would usually tell people limiting video games and youtube is probably perfectly fine but it sounds like you've gotten to the point of ignoring basic needs to game(hunger, thirst, peeing etc) so i think thats gotta be cold turkey for sure. You may be able to return to it in moderation later but you can make that call because you know yourself best. I'd say the biggest thing with all of this is do not under any circumstances begin your day with gaming or youtube. That is a very easy way to get caught on the slippery slope. And don't become obsessed with numbers like "day 2 pmo, day 1 no video games" because 9/10 times that's just gonna make you think about it more. Plant the seeds for a life that has no need to think about these urges.

Matter of fact, I used to go cold turkey, aka fast dopamine. I failed on my 1st day lol
Lemme try dopamine fasting and only allow myself to youtube and gaming on the weekends, let see if it works

The main goal is to understand yourself better.
Sometimes if u r stressed, you need an outlet otherwise u will go mad or depressed.
The second goal is to reduce stress since it is the common denominator of all addictions.
Stress could be in the form of anxiety or physical stress.
Exercise and meditation are the best solutions for reducing stress.

Starting with developing one good habit, it’s almost like the others start to melt away. Start by learning about nutrition and logging one food a day, and see what happens to your other habits. If that doesn’t work, try something else.

For me, reading replaced vaping. Weight lifting and soon hiking or some endurance type activity seems to have completely removed my desire to smoke weed, which weed makes fapping and all that bs easier to do.

Another big point is faith in something outside ourselves, to fall back on those tough times. I’ve never really been socially involved in a community like this, but nofap, prayer, and gratitude have all helped me move forward so far and my stress has gone way down, mood much more stable.

Best of luck to all of us, we can do it!

Good news! You get to learn from the failure of relapse without wasting any more time

So ask yourself the difficult questions:
    What caused you to relapse?
What were you feeling right beforehand? How about right after? What do you feel about it now?
Is there anything you could have done differently?
If relapsing caused you to feel good, is there any positive alternative that can make you feel the same way? If it made you feel bad, is there any way you can remind yourself of that feeling next time you are tempted?

Etc. Etc. Write your own, some will be very personal.

Relapse is only a waste if you don't learn from it & apply the lessons you learned.
