Hello guys, I will let you in on a secret.

A secret many of you may have known subconicously or felt it.

The secret is the true reason why people relapse.

It is a simple truth, but a gamechanger.

It´s your heart. More speciffically the truth of yourself and your heart.

Many of you try avoiding porn, masturbation and orgasms - PMO, nofap.

But just avoding these things will not change everything.
It may help, to a great deal

But an alcoholic who still loves alcohol, will relapse.
An addict who still thinks drugs are great, will relapse.
An pedophile who just surpresses his urge to dirty little children is still a pedophile.

This may sound harsh, but it is the simple truth and reality.

Feeling bad or guilty for watching porn, after watching porn is not enough.

Be true to yourself now, be true to your heart now.
If you still like those porn-clips, if you still like those crazy positions, loud moanings and sessions on your screen. If you still fantasize without resisting the urge, guess what, you are still the same ol´ closet-fapper in your heart.

If you truly want to be free, if you truly want to overcome this addiction, without relapse, without feeling bad, then change the way you feel about porn.

Sure, it might be stimulating and feel good to imagine or doing such things.

But it is simply wrong. It is fundamentally wrong.

"Who do you think I am? Do you think I am satisfied with being treated as an animal? Do you think I am content having 2D women? Do you think I will give in to such a lowly, selfdegrading and humilating thing?
I don´t want to see someone´s daughter acting like a whore. I don´t want someone´s wife cheat on a loving husband. I don´t want all these people to get sexual illnesses.
I will not feel good about porn. I will not feel good about such lowly fantasies.
I will not touch myself for no good reason.
I will not degrade the human being and myself to a sack full of meat.

I am more than the porn-industry will ever be. I will not become that pig oinking in pleasure."

Does your heart feel in such a way? Yes? Then good for you.

Don´t get me wrong, I also have thoughts from time to time and I think sexuality is important.
But never will I let them arouse me. Arousal is for the body, not the mind.
I am disgusted by these fantasies. Of course they try to make me feel good and make my body hot, but I won´t let them. I won´t let these thoughts and fantasies rape me.

Nobody expects you to win everytime, but in the end, most people fail, because they lie to themselves. They still feel good about fapping and porn in their hearts, even if their minds say it´s wrong.
Stop enjoying porn, stop enjoying those fantasies. Guide your sexual energy the right way.
Believe in yourself, be proud of yourself, be too proud for porn.

My good sir, a quote from James Allen in honour of this post,

Nothing can prevent us from accomplishing the aims of our life.

MAN’S power subsists in discrimination and choice. Man does not create any of the universal conditions or laws; they are the essential principles of things, and are neither made nor unmade. He discovers, not makes, them. Ignorance of them is at the root of the world s pain. To defy them is folly and bondage. Who is the freer man, the thief who denies the laws of his country, or the honest citizen who obeys them? Who, again, is the freer man, the fool who thinks he can live as he likes, or the wise man who chooses to do only that which is right?

Man is, in the nature of things, a being of habit, and this he cannot alter; but he can alter his habits. He cannot alter the law of his nature, but he can adapt his nature to the law.

He is the good man whose habits of thought and action are good.

Man is made or unmade by himself; in the
armoury of thought he forges the weapons
by which he destroys himself; he also
fashions the tools with which he builds
for himself heavenly mansions of joy and
strength and peace. By the right choice
and true application of thought man
ascends to the Divine Perfection; by the
abuse and wrong application of thought
he descends below the level of the beast.
Between these two extremes are all the
grades of character, and man is their
    maker and master.

As a being of Power, Intelligence, and
Love, and the lord of his own thoughts,
man holds the key to every situation.

Whatsoever you harbour in the inmost
chambers of your heart will, sooner or later,
by the inevitable law of reaction,
shape itself in your outward life.

Every soul attracts its own, and
nothing can possibly come to it that does
not belong to it. To realize this is to
recognize the universality of Divine Law.

If thou would’st right the world,
And banish all its evils and its woes.
    Make its wild places bloom,
And its drear deserts blossom as the rose-
    Then right thyself.

If nature defines your limits that´s fine with me. Call me a fool but I will not let others define my limit, nor James Allen nor Nature itself.
I would rather fall from the top of a skyscraper than the bottom of the floor.
Noone knows your limit, not even you. Limits are there to be overcome. Rules to be broken.

If I decide to be good or kind or a just person, I don´t do it because society asks for it, because my parents educated me this way or because "it´s the right thing to do"

It´s because i am free to decide what I want to do and if I decide out of my freedom to be good, then that´s truly beautiful.

If am to be called a fool because I do what I want I will carry that name with pride and honour ;)

As long as someone is human darkness will always be there, otherwise one would not be human.
Some sins, I enjoy because they make me imperfect. I like to be imperfect. Being perfect equals being boring, in a sense.

Darkness itself is not bad, light itself is not good. It is how it´s used.

Or would you rather turn up all your lamps when you go to sleep?
Darkness is kind to to moon and the stars. In a sense the sun is greedy and takes all the attention for itself.

Satan, the devil, call it what you want - is lucifer the fallen angel of guess what - the morning star aka white Light.

    http://www.whatchristianswanttoknow.com/how-is-satan-disguised-as-an-angel-of-light/

Darkness keeps your secrets safe. Darkness grants you sound sleep and protects you from too much sunlight.

Be more grateful to darkness. Neither is it evil, nor is it good as is light.

It´s about yourself that makes it good or bad. If you connect darkness with demons hate, anger, sorrow, fear and the like, then it is of course bad.

Darkness is feared because we cannot see in it. What cannot be seen, but felt, is feared.
    But that´s ignorance :)

Also yin and yang. Yang the light, hot, male and yin the dark, wet and female. Both is needed to create something genuinely beautiful, so yeah, I cling to my darkness because it´s a good, honest and kind darkness. It´s a loving darkness ;)

PS: I really like Ralph, even if his "Why you shouldn´t work" video is kinda weird

By definition , an addict likes what he is addicted to.A recovering addict stops because it affects him negatively. So , there's no point in saying that you must hate it to succeed , you won't hate it.
People relapse because they can't endure the withdrawal symptoms , as simple as that.

If thats what you believe I won´t stop you. But an addict is addicted to something. An addiction means that you have an ill craving for something. But, by the heavens, it surely means not that he "likes his addiction".

He likes porn or alcohol or heroin or whatever but don't like being addicted to them and their effects.
If he doesn't like them , why did he repeat them until he got addicted? !

Sorry, but why won´t you even try to understand?

Have you never stopped loving something?
Have the things you liked, loved or hated never changed in your life? For example, as kid you like cocoa but now it is too sweet for your taste? Things like that.
What I try to tell people is that the should stop loving porn or the pleasure that comes from it in their heart.
If you stop liking something you stop craving it sooner than you think. Is it that complicated?

You can never be free from addiction if you love the pleasure that comes from addiction, just try to understand that.

To your last question: Food, alcohol or drugs are often used because they numb the fears, anxiety and bad things that happens in a persons life. Have you never known a guy that started drinking heavily after he lost his job or family. Don´t make me laugh why would a guy that is happy in his life ever take drugs like heroin. Why would someone who is truly happy ever drink heavily.

    Why so aggressive? :)
I have seen a lot of former addicts and nearly all of them say they still love what they were addicted to , although some of them have been sober for years.
Even the famous William ( the author of the most popular thread here ) said that he still likes it although he is nearly 2 years clean.
If it works for you , then hate it but some people can't but I am sure they can quit.

Well it´s not that I am aggressive, just passionate. Count it as one of my weak points ;)

You are right, everyone is different, what works for me may not work for others. But I at least, wanted to give them this option.

You are a fiery one! Channel the fire and you will become unstoppable!

I don't mean to push anyone else's words or ideas onto you. James Allen is not telling you or anyone how to live, he is reiterating universal truths he has witnessed directly in states of deep meditation. Sometimes I get frustrated reading a spiritual master's teachings, because they shine light on the darkness inside us that we are still attached to.

And you are most correct, we all have darkness in us or else we would not be human, we would transcend this mundane world to realms of unfathomable bliss my friend.
