If you seek an Accountability Partner (AP) group for daily check-ins, unwavering support, and the relentless pursuit of a porn-free, media-free life, you have found your tribe.

This challenge was created to uphold discipline and motivation for sustaining a long-term porn-free, media-free lifestyle.
This may lead to additional personal goals, so you are free to define your own.
But clarity and commitment are essential. Set your goals with precision and honor them like a Viking oath.
Use the SMART method to ensure your goals are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound.
Many who battle porn addiction also struggle with media addiction—if this resonates with you, embrace the NoSurf mode to break free.
This thread is more than just a challenge. It is a hall of warriors, a stronghold of accountability, and a battlefield where victories are won one day at a time.

Rules:
  • no porn or nosurf (Includes No Porn)
  • You decide yourself about doing noPM or noPMO. You can also do noSurf mode.
  • It's important to set clear goals and write them in the thread. Make clear what your goal for the streak and challenge counting is.
  • Currently you are allowed to join with you current streak. For the hall of fame you need to have made half the way here.
  • With every relapse you have to start again at day 0.

Rules of the Challenge

  1. No Porn or NoSurf (NoSurf includes No Porn).
  2. Choose your path: You decide whether to follow NoPM or NoPMO, and you may also adopt NoSurf mode.
  3. Declare your mission: Set clear goals, write them in the thread, and define how you will track your streak for rising in the challenge
  4. Prove your worth: You may join with your current streak, but to enter the Hall of Fame, you must complete at least half the challenge.
  5. Honor the code: Every relapse resets your streak to Day 0—learn, adapt, and return stronger.
  6. Current rule: current rule: (I updated the rule for myself, when there are mor contenders I am open to change back)
How to join:
  • Post in the thread that you are in, state your goals and make a short introduction or link your introduction.
  • Write your name on the Viking Army progress list (Click here)
  • It is recommended to check in daily, but you must check in at least once a week. If you take a longer pause from checking in daily you must pronounce this before leaving to preserve your rank and stay in the challenge
  • You can add further goals and a journal to your check in.
  • You may also link your introduction and further journal.
  • If you relapse it may be helpful to say why it happened and how you will fix the issue the next time.

Tips: Strengthening Your Will – Warrior's Code of Discipline

  • Forge daily habits to reinforce your willpower.
  • work out heavily and/or go running
  • develop daily habits to strengthen your willpower
  • work out heavily or go running
  • Master your mind through meditation—proven techniques are autogenic training and mindfulness practices.
  • 4-7-8 breathing meditation helps you let the energy flowing through your body and not culminating in genitals.
  • do yoga with pranayama, keep positions long and breatch deeply and slowly
  • eat clean: plenty of vegetables, unprocessed foods, no sugar, no fast food etc.
  • Rise before the sun — waking up early is one of the greatest self-discipline builders, as taught by Jocko Willink.
  • sleep enough and at consistent sleeping times, especially if you are training hard.
  • Stay accountable daily — your brothers-in-arms stand with you, but only you can walk this path.
This is more than a challenge. It is a call to greatness.

Goals:
  • Workout and become a beast. Need to get my fitness level up so that I can join the part of the military that I want.
  • Become less focused on girls, not to think about them and what they think about me.
  • Become more disciplined(NoFap has helped me with that.

Explanation of the willpower exercise:
Every day you take on a small task for the next day, which you do at all costs.
The principle of doing something because you set out to do it strengthens your willpower in the long run, even for larger tasks.
It is important to use small realistic tasks that you can actually complete.
You can also do small daily routines and then slowly develop them. For example, I plan to fill out my diary calendar or do sports etc. You do useful things because you have decided to do them. With time you feel really uncomfortable when laziness makes you act against your own decision.
The idea is that willpower can be trained like a muscle.
Swami Sivananda and other Yoga scholars have described this exercise.

• Continue with the Wim Hof method - meditation breathing and cold treatment
• Overcome my emotional dependency on fapping

I'm male, 35 based in UK. I quit my job to become a musician, not there yet but getting there and very confident, i believe myself to be in the 1% of musicians who think they're gonna make it, and are right...as opposed to the 99% of dreamers....and YOLO so why work your life away in a miserable 9-5 to make someone else rich while you struggle? Not the life for me. I've been trying nofap for a couple years and i would say i'm making progress but have never made it to my goal of 90 days, which is my first benchmark...ultimately i want to abstain for life and find my true potential...but fapping keeps me in a low energy state where i have very little confidence and i struggle. I've had glimpses of what the other side looks like and i desperately want to get there. Ultimately i have never given up in the time I've been going, when i relapse i reset the timer and try again. I've recently come to the conclusion i need to have an AP and someone to talk to because i have no one in my life i want to open up to about this.

Welcome new Viking. An army is about to arise :)
Working out is very important for me too. It is key in regenerating the brain from the effects of pmo and for me it is most effective for easing urges.

Had a few hours of unproductive housekeeping at lunchtime. I need to speed things up tomorrow.

Had some urges today, and I was a little wired and unfocused.
I try to go jogging tomorrow.
I hope my shoulder is healed soon so that I can do some real exercise.
It remains a fight, tomorrow I want to do all the work quickly and measure the working time exactly.

  • become a better person through this and grow in loving God/ others
  • profit from the benefits and get more productive
  • get stronger (physical endurance/ mental willpower)

    Introduction:
    Finally joined NoFap after hearing about it two years ago.
    Mainly trying to stop, bc I believe it's just wrong and I believe in God's word. And believe I will find my partner soon and don't want this to get in our way. PM seems like "tainted love". I wanna know what real love is.
    Would like to see the benefits change my life, in such a way, that I don't miss my opportunities and have less shortcomings for others.
    Now feel like with this support I will be able to break my habits.
