There is nothing 'new' online!

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by LordReshi7121999, Jul 14, 2017.

  1. We all have been tricked by our mind into believing that there is something new online, something more interesting. Sorry to say, that isn't the case.
Personally my mind keeps telling me that this p-star has tried something new that I should totally check out. And I've fallen for that trap quite a few times. But not anymore.
It's the same old rubbish content that will keep messing up your mind. I'm writing this post after relapsing because I think this is the only thought holding me back everytime.
We are made to believe that 'p' is 'updated' daily for our enjoyment. Only that its a lie to our face. Same old thing, different puppet every time. And we, the foolish audience keep coming back for the same story, same play every single day. On my best streaks, I made my mind believe that it's the same old thing, that it was a waste of time and it worked.
It will always be about who convinces whom, you or your mind, your desire or your discipline. Its tough, because desire is easy, discipline is tough. But I promise, to anyone who reaches day 10, they will feel the benefits.
Don't let your mind be the boss. Uninstall your browsers if you need to. You'll find new things in the news. Just live your life enjoy your day, and repel the urges. By letting go of the old, we all can start something 'new'. Good day ppl, stay strong!! :)

Too true. Looking for that special video, lol. It's always the same boring crap, always.

  3. That's right.
But in order to displine your mind, you gotta change your routine & habits pal.
Then it'll be easy to distract the mind & urges.
    Peace.

  4. One thing I noticed was if I concentrated on nofap then my mind would inevitably tend towards thoughts of porn. So instead I stopped thinking about nofap or porn altogether and deny my urges only when they come up. Other than that I live normally, I don't care if there's a girl in the room or if I'm too shy to talk or too lazy to move, I just keep going on. That helped me to my longest streak till date. Then I messed up late night one day...

  5. The addiction tells us all kinds of lies to make us come back. "There's something new", "a little look won't hurt anything", "you're not good enough." Those are only a few of the wonderful little things our brains hurl at us as we try to heal.

  6. For the pathetic excuses my brain throws at me, I've kept some TV series and movies on my mobile. Instead of porn I turn to this stuff. I don't end up relapsing plus I am completing some new TV series every time ;)

Yeah, always looking for something new. Same with a lot of social media. I was thinking yesterday about how not one post on social media has bet really benefited me significantly or been necessary.

Same stuff when you check your facebook even before you get out of bed. We have to admit that this type of behavior is problematic, I mean I do this stuff too when instead I should be focused on my priorities.
