    I was a scared boy. Quitting porn has turned me back into a man.
    I was anxious and neurotic. It made my life hell. Work stressed me out. I would try and control it with alcohol, sex, and porn.
    I have gained back what I thought was gone. I recently started dating. I am spending time with a gal in my neighborhood. We have be out a handful of times to dinner and walks.
    Last night I stopped by her place. We kissed passionately and pressed up against one another. It was really fun. It felt very honest. We didn't take it any further. To say I was happy is an understatement. I haven't had an experience like this in years.
    Since my last relationship and break up things have been very confusing and deceitful.
    Now my anxiety is all but gone, I am more confident and social.
    I was very hard. She couldn't help but notice. I got home and my wood wouldn't go back down. It was like I was a 16 years old.
    PORN IS POISON. STOP DRINKING IN THIS POISON.
    You will get back what you have lost or destroyed.
    I am seeing her again tonight. I am really excited.

    Great to hear of your succes, it helps to understand that all this porn has caused can actually be reserved.

    Just seeing this since rejoining the community, and though I'm married and not in the dating scene per se, the inspiration and success here is paramount. Though our situations are drastically different, the inner demon does the same thing to us. It may manifest itself in different ways, but ultimately attempts to destroy us. Seeing posts like this are why I love this community and came back (for the hundredth time probably).

    Thank you for sharing the hope...I need hope right now. Keep us posted.

    Things still going well bud? It really is. I am working on a past recovery story, but I’ve fell from life being a crap shoot. I’m starting to find woman and my girlfriend just attractive not really in a sexual way, but cute like my old teenage self would think.
