Then it id quite odd and disappointing that I did not have a doctor like you had.
I agree, it is disappointing.
some doctors and urologists are lazy and basically will prescribe ED pills because it is the easiest solution.
a good doctor and urologist will always do bloodwork and then check your testosterone. If this isn’t an issue then they will look at potential psychological issues.
My urologist asked me if i drink alcohol, if I smoke, do drugs, and even asked if I pay for sex (reason for this is because paid sex isn’t as sensual so it could be the issue). When he realised all my results were good and I don’t smoke, don’t drink or do drugs, he advised to simply do certain exercise and eat certain foods and then comeback in 3 months and let’s see how you do.
I will also add he asked if I was sexually scribe to which I said yes and he went on to say have sex about one every week if you can with your FWB as it will help find out if what he assigned me to do is working.
I don’t mind if people have difference of opinion, that’s fine, however I feel a lot of people put too much into nofap and semen retention and start to believe that if they apply nofap and/or semen retention that it will resolve every issue in their life. They start to believe all there problems derive from PMO and not doing semen retention.
I’ll give you my background to give you an idea as to why I don’t believe In “life force” and “energy” and “aura” that people claim nofap and semen retention gives.
I started PMO at age 15
I have been sexually active since 14 (I have never paid for sex). I have always been athletic, I represented my senior years in school from rugby down to squash. I was also a natural competitive bodybuilder and competed until I was 20 (I don’t compete anymore but still train 6 days a week and have a bodybuilders physique). I have also been married, had many gf’s, one night stands and FWB (currently in one). I have never had a hard time attractiving women. I also am financially successful in my career. Have many friends In my life and constantly travel with them and do social gatherings.
I achieved all of this while PMOing for 20 years (apart from the time I got divorced and didn’t PMO for 24 months). The only issue I had In My life was porn, and I did it out of sheer dopamine rush, nothing more.
Since I found out porn was causing me ED, I stopped and never looked back. My PIED is now gone.
why am I telling you all this? To highlight that PMO can set people back yes, however I still got noticed, still had women in my life and always had people around me while also succeeding in everything else In life I set out.
truth is NOFAP and SR will help, however it won’t resolve all your problems. The these are things you will also have to work on outside of PMO.
