    Hello everyone,

I'm a 20 year old male and I've never had a girlfriend before. I've had a masturbation and porn addiction for about 8 years. This addiction has seriously affected my confidence. When I meet girls for the first time, I get really nervous when talking to them. Also, when I'm with a group of people, I'm usually the quietest person because of my lack of confidence and public speaking. I wish I could better communicate with people and that I could stop being awkward in social situations.

Also, since I've been struggling with this addiction for so many years, I decided to visit a strip club (for the first time) a few days ago, hoping to release sexual tension and quit masturbation for good. But unfortunately, this didn't help me at all. It's making my addiction much worse because I still masturbate to the girl that gave me a lap dance. Can anyone relate to this? Is going to strip clubs a good or bad idea? Is it good because it releases sexual tension or is it bad for your addiction?

I've watched several YouTube videos and read countless articles about how to quit masturbation and majority of them recommended NoFap. I'm really depending on NoFap because this might be the only way for me to quit masturbating.

    Thanks for your help guys!

I look forward to gaining motivation here and I hope this addiction comes to an end for all of us! :)

welcome to the site man , stay strong out there. I definitely would not suggest hitting strip clubs as that will probably mess with your dopamine reactions further. nofap is about restoring balance to our brains so that we could be confident. porn messes with our brains and disorients ourselves and our identity and thus confidence
