Time to Start Over

Hi everyone, my name is Mark. I'm really just a dude looking to "start over" his life a bit. I moved to Salt Lake City a year ago for college. After many months, I hated my life. I had left everything I loved behind and had become what I never wanted to be. I had become the antithesis of who I knew I wanted to be, and my life was falling apart. So I moved back home for a number of reasons (school, work, friends mostly), and now I'm trying to make my life into what I've dreamed. I'm trying to get better at guitar, stop my internet/porn/masturbation habits, get a good job, friends, and hopefully by the end of the year a girlfriend. This is one step towards one goal. Hopefully achieving one goal will allow me to achieve more and reach my potential and get those "superpowers" that people talk about around here.

I found out about this from the Reddit "foreveralone" page. I've always been a bit non-social so I went there sometimes to vent and relate to other people who feel alone. But now I've realized it's time to take a stand, take my life by the hands, and find something I've wanted all along.

I fapped last night, but haven't since then. One day completed for me. I'll be coming back here and keeping a journal to encourage myself. Life starts now!
