Tired of the cycle - Get caught, quit for a while, slowly start again, PMO more frequently, repeat.

Well, let's see... male, mid 40's, married, first exposure to porn/cybersex/erotica/erotic-audio goes back to my late teens/early twenties, and right now I'm on day zero.

Impact? Well, right now my wife's not speaking to me, having been caught by accidentally saving a nude image to my photo library. On a larger scale, it definitely has affected my relationship, my productivity at work and at home.

I'll admit that it's only been within the last year or so where I've felt like I actually wanted to quit. In the past it was more that I didn't want my wife to catch me with any evidence of it, but I continued doing it behind her back. I did manage to quit for an extended time earlier this year, probably the longest streak I've had (a few weeks maybe?) but got myself into bad habits again. So why do I want to quit? I know it's not good for me, not healthy - mentally, physically, or in any way at all. I want to be a better husband/father/person, I want to spend my time doing things that I can be proud of.

I suppose my reboot parameters would be "no PMO" for now, but longer term I would want to move to "no PM."
