There is one prominent reason why those male children do not report abuse, it's because other males will tell them to feel lucky and how much they wouldn't complain if they experienced that too. Because acknowledging that a fellow male, experienced abuse from a female, would make them 'weak' too. At least, according to their minds. Thus, male victims stay silent, fearing the backlash of the collective male ego.

It's certainly due to the collective male ego that your case hadn't been taken seriously. Even on this platform, many male addicts would wish they could exchange places with you. As men, in their oversized self-image and worth, would object to admit your case traumatized you in the first place. In other words, they implicitly agree to sacrifice you.

 

I acknowledge your experience and your frustration. You should recognize your case is highly exceptional, men won't take your case seriously because it would hurt their male ego, and women won't believe you to begin with.

So in case, the target is armed, those men suddenly gain the ability to see past the 'temptations' and control their 'lust'. Something seemingly 'impossible' until they became restricted and knew for sure apologism is useless this time. For an unarmed target, there is absolutely nothing more important than fulfilling their 'lust'.

 

So it is indeed more of a lust for power and domination, laced with misogyny, fueled by an inconceivable degree of entitlement, and concretized with sexual means. By entitlement, I mean entitlement to another human's body and sexual ownership.

So the man is a victim, whose actions result from extreme temptations. This is quite the apologism you are struggling to give. Just re-consider what I have told you, rape occurs in societies where all women cover themselves from head to toe. Have you forgotten children are raped too ? Where resides the temptation you speak about ?
