Trap porn addiction

Hello friends, good morning/afternoon/evening!

As I have joined this community officially a few days ago I wish to post about something that troubles me. I've been attempting nofap throughout this year, and for some time I have struggled with a trap porn fetish. As most of you know already, consuming porn can affect your sexuality and create undesired fetishes, due to the fact that your brain increasingly craves more and more shocking material. Thus, this results in many people masturbating to things they would otherwise find disgusting, for example interracial, gay and transwoman porn and even cases where people resort to enacting these artificially made fetishes in real life. Extreme cases where people start watching beastiality porn and even CP exist.

My case is the one with transwoman porn. It started a few years ago when I first viewed it, which at the time I found weird, but arousing. I didn't pay much attention to it until like last year, when I increasingly started to watch this genre. In 2019. as I started to find out about all the effects of porn via youtube videos and such, I recognized that I have a problem. This genre even got me into a crossdressing fetish which I sometimes enacted in private, fantasizing about being this "trap". (I am not a transvestite and I am straight). That was the apex of my addiction, although I do not enact it anymore, so there is some progress. I am now repulsed by what I have done, but the fetish still lives in me. I still have the urge to view this type of pornography, and I have very recently. I have done some research on this and it turns out many other people have had similar problems. I even heard a story that a married straight dude hired a transgender escort due to his overwhelming addiction. His wife came into their room and saw the man having sex with the transgender escort. They are now divorced. This is an extreme example but nonetheless, a very real one.

The science behind this is bizzare, but as this thread is already a TL;DR I will just post a few youtube links from where I learned this information.



Also, I'd like to thank the creator of this site, and all of you for being here for eachother. I could never imagine talking about this to anyone in real life, unless shit really hit the fan.

Finally I would like to hear if any of you have had a similar experience, and what was your strategy of fighting it?
