She wants that sweet sweet "honey pot", called presidencial power, after that she´ll go back on all those promises, throw her useful idiots off the bridge (including Biden btw) and start another war in the Middle East.
I agree. And think about this: All the MSM swore up and down Trump would do terrible things, the economy would crash, etc, and none of that happened. I don't really see, based on his track record, how people would like him less now than they did in 2016, when he hadn't been president yet and had had no chance to disprove all the baseless accusations. All that stuff CNN and the like were spazzing out about, never happened (or if they did, it was actually the democrats doing it, eg rioting, which most people don't like at all). The economy is doing great, he's not funding the kkk or other crap like that they practically promised he would. And he's caused a lot of distrust in the news, which plays well for him, since most of the news is against him. Anyway, bottom line, I'm guessing Trump will win because he had enough voters to win in 2016, and it seems more likely that he'll get more votes as opposed to less.
Fair enough. That being said, I highly doubt its going to reach independents or republicans. Most Republicans are firmly pro-trump, and I think many independents have too many other reasons to dislike Harris for that to redeem her in their eyes.
OMG, Biden's onset of dementia is so scary...and his breathlessness, like an old geezer. Not everyone ages well. A Dem vote is really one for Harris for President; Biden won't live out a term. R.I.P. .
This is one of the most civil political threads that I've seen in a very long time... Nice job, NoFap Community!
Trump is too much direct which is not always good, but Joe Biden is too much good that it seems like he is faking everything. If American elections had NOTA(None of the above) button, then surely NOTA would had won this upcoming election. Edit:@Fixmybrain please add a pole to this thread. Let people around the globe cast their vote on this thread.
I'm getting serious deja vu saying this, almost like I said it in another thread a while back, but I really dont think the bad stuff that has happened this year negatively affects Trump as much as people seem to think it does. The riots expose the malicious incompetence of democratic leadership, I'm sure a lot the people who had their businesses destroyed wont be supporting them from now on. Meanwhile, the pandemic has been successfully gamed by Trump to seem less bad in his bases eyes. If an overweight elderly man can survive it, then they see it as not a huge deal. Its all about optics at the end of the day. The people who love Trump really, really love him. Biden doesnt seem to have the same enthusiastic support. I'm still sticking to what I predicted months back, that Trump will win, but with less electoral votes than in 2016. I only think this because Biden, while garbage, is slightly less garbage than Hillary was.
I dont know if you are being flippant by saying this but its unironically a great point. What his opponents either dont understand, or wont accept, is that the more Trump acts like Trump, the more people like him. The more people antagonise him, and the more he antagonises them back, the more popular he becomes. Whether its all an act or not I cannot say for certain, (although I would lean heavily towards saying yes considering how eloquent and calm he can be when he chooses) but its hard to deny it works.
I ain’t American, I don’t know a damn about American Politics, But I really think Plump Trump’s gon’ make it. If not, well be it!
You think its gonna help Americans that are out of work/small businesses to shut down again? Also, it doesnt seems like a great idea to get a president (biden) who makes corrupt deals with our biggest enemy, china.
The only way to help those businesses is to reinvest in them, nobody´s going to do it, when they know when another corona like virus hits and government turns dumb, the state will just sell down the small businesses for the higher ones, it´s disgusting but it´s a lesson that needed to be taught the system needs proper reforms.
I'll go against the flow here and put my money on Biden. Clinton lost because 1. many actively disliked her with passion, meanwhile nobody hates the Bidenator. 2. Crazy stuff with the FBI announcing her investigation (but not Trump's lol). Unlikely to happen again. Hunter Biden's exploits could have similar effect in normal circumstances but in the current corona times nobody cares. 3. Trump in 2016 was a wildcard. He made big promises and the idea of a new sort of politician was exciting. Now at this point almost everyone has realized that behind all the exotic bombast is a fairly standard Republican president.
I dont know, The "Trump Hype" is still going to be problematic, the California exodus and the average miner´s desires are still going to get him votes, on top of the cult following he has from the Alt right and Right channels. What can get him screwed right now is the Electoral College, I could see them being a serious wildcard in this election, that could favor Trump, since Biden has no health to be president, but lets be honests it can go anyother way. That said if Trump doesnt get relected things are going to be nasty, the average cop and military pro Trump dude could snap lol. If the Left tries to do something in regards to the Electoral college, things could get nasty too, so prepare for riots.
Lets be honests, Biden offers nothing new to the table, after 8 years of Obama American people will most likely relect Trump for more 4 years, just because he´s a out of the ordinary candidate, heck some will probably vote for him just for the memes. Biden´s a shitty placeholder, Sanders or Andrew Yang should´ve took his place, then the left would´ve a debate edge against Trump, but they blew it. Placeholders dont win elections when they are placed against inordinary guys who already are presidents. If the Left is smart, in the next election they´ll ditch placeholder candidates and take in the big names and throw them against the Reps, Republicans are likely not going to have any big names or trick candidates for the next election, so they´ll likely lose without the Trump Hype.
