    Hello NoFap, I just joined the platform and am hoping that this place has something to help me get rid of this addiction. I am a deeply Christian 17 year old man(as you hopefully can tell by my name) and I see pornography and lust as sinful things. I would appreciate if anyone could tell me their experiences with NoFap and how it has helped them. I hope to one day be fully freed from this addiction so that I may be a more productive man one day a good husband and father.

    1st welcome to the forum. I too am a Christian, you'll find many here. This forum has helped me alot. It a place where you can discuss what's going on in your head. I how understand the why I keep doing this. A question I hadon't for many years. Understand the science of this addiction and why Internet porn is so must worst. I've been clean for 70 days tomorrow, the longest I been without PM for years. Can't say I free, but the urges are less to the point it easier to walk away. You need to understand what your triggers are, why you use porn, the develop and write a plan on what you are going to do different when these triggers happen. I saw write it down, because you will be more successful if you write down you plan than just think about it n your head. Below is a link I recommend starting at. God bless.

    Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

    The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

    Hello! Welcome to the place and congrats, is a very good decision. One just can not overcome this by oneself, believe me (no matter what our religion may say, if we do not have others support, is very, very difficult). Here you will find support and help.

  5. Hey @Run_Like_Joseph_Did ,

    Welcome to NoFap. Reading other peoples journals is a big part of my program and one of the ways I "work it".

    I just read the greatest journal entry. I don't offer opinions or advice, only ESH (Experience, Strength and Hope).

    I wish I could write the way he does. To me it felt like he opened up his chest and let us see not only into his heart but deeper into his soul. It takes a few minutes to read the first two posts - but, I'm so glad that I did.

    The journal is at https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/155372

    Keep coming back it works if you work it,

    * L
