Boy, do I know what you mean about Tumblr. I have had a lot of trouble with it. What helps me is, first, to get rid of it, and second, to work my plan. It isn't that you will *never* ever be tempted to go back; but you can get to where you don't long for it; you have freedom.

Oof... tumblr is a beast. It’s practically designed to trap your mind. Good job disabling it, hopefully it stays that way.

 

I completely agree. tumblr was the worst. after i deleted it i still find myself checking my phone for it.

 

You need to get a new email.
You have Tumblr in your spam folder with Come back Emails.
It's something I had to do when I quit.
It was my go-to.

The app Checky tells you that you check your phone for no reason too.. Lol or too much and how bad of a habit you have.

 

I didn't know about 'checky'. Maybe at can help to change a habit as well. Do you have a good experience with the app?

I hate this site. I never used the app, but had to block it for a while on my phone and PC.
At least they introduced this forced login for P content, then I created an overly complicated password and was too lazy to login.

A strange thing: porn makes a man lazy and that is helping him to stay away from it

 

I never got into porn until I found Tumblr. That place is pure evil. While for years I was able to avoid normal porn sites because I was worried that my computer would get infected by viruses, on its surface Tumblr looks like a legitimate social media site, so it felt safe. Tumblr can be used for legitimate purposes, for some people. But not us. The problem with Tumblr is that it absolutely bombards your senses with an essentially neverending stream of stimuli, and it seems to be designed from the ground up to encourage users to waste time on the site, scrolling and reblogging. And the site moderation is woefully inadequate, with copyright infringement and truly sick content in abundance everywhere. Avoid this site like the plague. It can ruin your life. It nearly did mine.

I agree so much with what you have said about Tumblr. It's a neverending supply of images.

 

The forced login was a Godsend for me. It didn’t completely stop it but it helped a lot.
