Turned on by porn but hardly turned on without it doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem.

So I don't believe any guy is abnormal from being turned on by porn or artificial sexual stimulation. I think guys who don't even have a problem with porn, who don't have porn addiction, who don't have porn induced brain changes can still get seriously turned on by porn and artificial sexual stimulation.

There is a belief that I believe could be somewhat true, where when guys who have been chronically addicted to PMO for years give up porn and artificial sexual stimulation they go in to a flat line where they literally feel no sexual urges or arousal at all. Or they hardly ever feel any sexual urges or arousal.

Now I believe this could happen, and this will happen to a lot of guys who give up porn and artificial sexual stimulation who have been chronically addicted to PMO for years.

But I also believe a lot of guys could be getting their wires crossed with this. For instance how often is a guy naturally supposed to get sexual urges anyway? So I mean without any artificial sexual stimulation how often do guys like this naturally get sexual urges?

When you were chronically PMOing using high speed internet, you were clearly experiencing sexual urges and arousal much more than you were naturally supposed to.

I feel like some guys will give up porn and artificial sexual stimulation, they will have no other sexual outlet, then they will think I am hardly ever getting much sexual urges anymore, I am hardly ever experiencing much sexual arousal anymore. But when you think about it is it any wonder?

The reality is guys who aren't addicted to porn, who don't have porn induced brain changes, who don't have porn induced sexual dysfunctions, even guys like this usually get much more turned on by porn and artificial sexual stimulation than using their imagination for instance. Guys like this with no other sexual outlet, so their not having sex, their not on porn or artificial sexual stimulation, I'm betting guys like this only masturbate once or twice a week and hardly ever feel much sexual urges or sexual arousal. They maybe get high sexual urges and high sexual arousal now and again after they haven't been masturbating for like a week etc. But porn and artificial sexual stimulation would even cause these guys sky high sexual urges and arousal even if they had been masturbating frequently.

So the two things here are one it is not actually abnormal to feel turned on by porn and artificial sexual stimulation, and two if you literally have no other sexual outlet is it any wonder you hardly ever get sexual urges and hardly ever experience much sexual arousal?

But guys automatically think oh I am flatlining, oh I have all these porn induced sexual dysfunctions because I get so turned on by porn but without it I am hardly turned on.

Maybe it's not normal to masturbate multiple times every single day, which is what porn and artificial sexual stimulation causes. Maybe it was more normal to masturbate once or twice a week, and not get sexual urges and sexual arousal nearly everyday?

The last point is the only way to know for sure if you have porn induced sexual dysfunctions is actually getting with a woman you like in real life. If you don't have any performance anxiety yet you are still experiencing low sexual urges and arousal with her, if you still have erection issues with her, then yes you probably do have porn induced sexual dysfunctions.

But trying to determine if you have these things from having no sexual outlet at all just doesn't make much sense to me.
