    How?
Use TestDPC , it can lock settings or disable it or even make an app uninstallable

Enable developer options. Then open developer options and find animations. Set last animation setting to 2x.
    I will try DPC.
I disabled undisableable apps using ADB. I can't share a link but it's so easy you can easily find a tutorial.
I disabled Galaxy Store, Play Store etc using this tutorial.
I prevented App Installation/Uninstallation by disabling PackageInstaller.

Dont do that very risky , if your phone switches of , you need to factory reset or use a third-party software to get it to boot. I did that before and my phone got fked
TestDPC can do everything you want to , the only problem was the applock not being fast enough, I think your solution shold work

Yeah, I know that happend me before. I was always paranoid about battery. But all these problems are now solved. I tried using Family Link before but I don't have any access to any credit cards. So I was unsuccessful. But today I tried it again and it worked! No credit card required. I verified by SMS. It works like a charm. It blocks everything. Oh God, Finally! And, It blocks all bloatware software. I formatted my phone then created a kid account in setup screen. I used my brother's phone to use Family Link app. I recommend formatting your phone. It asks you to which apps do you want to keep in your phone in setup screen. So I got rid of all bloatware, Chrome etc. Thanks.

You don't need any 3rd party apps if you are using Family Link. It works like a charm. I will share a video.

Is there a way to enforce Youtube's restricted mode in a setup like this:
    • Firefox
    • FortiClient
    • Fapsecure
    • ColdTurkey
If I am not wrong FortiClient is usually enforcing Youtube restricted, but Fapsecure is removing that lock. I know it can still be enforced in Chrome Browser via Pluckeye, but I do not think there is a workaround for Firefox yet or am I wrong?

During the setup I was sticking to the suggestions in this thread mostly, otherwise I probably would have never been able to set this up, so thanks a lot!

  9. 1. Download the file.
    2. Search Notepad and Run it as Administrator.
    3. Then Open the Following Location - C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
    4. Open hosts file.
    5. Copy contents from the Uploaded file and paste them into the hosts file of your computer.
    5. Save it.

    DONE!

  10. Could you please share your CTB Config and Block List?

  11. You could use Pluckeye or other browsers and uninstall any other browsers.

  12. Even I use ColdTurkey Blocker, Clean Browsing DNS and many other things. I also blocked some sites using Windows Firewall. When I downloaded it, it said that It can't be bypassed but I have thousands of ways to do that. If you have discovered a way to bypass CT Blocker, do share it. This way I can help you to mend it if I can and fix it in my own CTB.

  13. I use CTB. I have no problem with Google Images but I have blocked Videos. Did you edit registry to set DNS over HTTPS permanently?

  14. Yes there is. The attached file enforces safe search on Google, Bing, Yandex, DuckDuckGo ,etc.
Just Copy the contents and paste it without changing anything from hosts file. Don't copy the wikihow link.
Also, it prevents Restricted Mode on YouTube.

If You want to enforce restricted mode, then change the 7's at end on last 6 lines to 9's.

  15. So, I discovered your thread a few days ago. I use Blockers but thing is I wanted something which blocks only p*rn and explicit content and on network level, just like DNS because I found loopholes in Clean Browsing DNS. I have been using Cold Turkey Blocker, DNS, hosts, Windows Firewall before finding this thread.
Pluckeye is good, but I don't think I will be using it until I have Cold Turkey. Also Forti Client seems promising and matches my needs. I wanted to ask whether the P*rn Blocking List is updated regularly there as it is a previous version? Also I am skeptical as many complained of slow loading. I probably will use it later.
    DNS - Blocks Most
Cold Turkey Blocker - Keywords added and hence blocks most of loopholes.
Firewall - Useful as it is in network level and Helps when Cold Turkey is disabled [because I bypass it a lot :-| ].
I will PM you about hosts file as there are some downgrades to it.

People also think that Cold Turkey is unbypassable but it is very easy to do that and I have set it such that it can't be bypassed.

    Thanks

  16. Can you set DoH/DoT in registry ? If so I have a good solution for that.

  17. Protection For Android depending on phones.
1.First check if your phone has in-built app locker.
2.Preferably upgrade your phone to Android 11. Android 10 and 9 are okay but only factory reset protection can't be applied. If you have anything below.. throw them away and buy a basic phone without browser or Android 11. You are an addict.
3.If you are using AndroidOne devices like Nokia or HTC or any other use Adult_Block and PureWeb. Those two are your app locks if you don't have inbuilt app locker. They can't be bypassed there. Follow the thread for Test DPC from here.
4.If you don't have an inbuilt app locker check if Adult_Block can be bypassed by repeated opening of test DPC and see if it takes time for adult block to block it. If adult block doesn't block it immediately then you are in trouble.

For Users with in built app lock:
Congrats. Use this as app locker for Test DPC. You are saved!

For Users(Samsung preferably) without in built app lock:
You need to do some work. Use this as your preferred app lock :Lock App- Smart App Locker- Use this only. others are crap
Or bull dog blocker (if you don't want Private DNS) for locking Test DPC only. You could use Adult block or PureWeb to block other app categories and back up
You must also download Avira Antivirus (2021) modded version or Norton App Lock.
Using these 2 you have to lock accessibility app and Device care app. (It is must).
Now download ESET Parental control and sign up. Don't worry ! After your premium duration.. app lock features and protection features work. You can check their website. Set this up. This is must for Samsung users so that the reset page can be blocked.
In test DPC you have to go to user restrictions and disallow app control.
With this you will be saved.

If you have a phone that has the option to reset accessibility settings and you don't have an in built app locker you have to download the latest version adult block and use keyword blocking feature. In the keyword type "Reset" and "PIN"

    Browsers and Apps:
Since you are an addict you have to limit your app usage like games, social media and other crap. It's better you block social media and games using adult block if you are not making money.
I download all necessary apps like maps, email, payments and for work.
If you want to go extreme it's better you block play store. You have to block app stores other than google play store.
If your phone has an unlocked bootloader like samsung I advice you to remove play store, galaxy store using adb so that when you unlock your app locker you don't go crazy.
For browsers either use SPIN, or other chrome based browsers. Don't use other older chrome based browser like dolphin, kiwi etc.

Don't use browsers other than SPIN, strongly avoid other browsers like brave and chromium
Use SPIN ,download ghostery, leechblock, and pluckeye extension. You will instantly be de-addicted to your phone. Use leechblock to block addon settings.
Sign up with Cloudflare for teams
Take your time to learn about cloudflare gateway and create your policies using gateway. After that use its DoT and set it as private DNS in your phone and lock it using Test DPC
Use Chrome or Brave (Preferred for privacy and ad blocking). Never ever use Firefox for now because you can't set policies. Even in PC firefox can't block proxies. You can block proxies in chromium based browsers only. Forget about edge due to its privacy.
Cloudflare Gateway acts like Fortinet for Android.
For apps ,you could block VPN connection using TestDPC and you are free to download apps that have in app browsers. Since you have private DNS you are saved. Even Bulldog blocker protects you in in-app browser.
I additionally use RethinkDNS and allow VPN connections because I have removed play store and don't install any other apps that are uninportant and it is best for privacy. They say that Apple is better than Android for privacy. But in apple devices more than half is apple traffic and they collect it. But they don't sell it. You could prevent Android from collecting your data using Rethink DNS

After setting this config over a month I don't keep checking my phone and I don't slip. Before figuring this out it was frustrating. You could slowly ease restrictions with allowing other important apps.
Take a backup of this and store it. so that if you reset it is easy to import.

    IMPORTANT
Do not set Factory Reset Protection for Android 11. You cannot recover after hard reset. Even though you have YouTube videos they won't work.
