BTW I even tried to implement a key lock feature to test dpc app myself but I don't have any coding knowledge so I was unsuccesful. Maybe hiring a freelancer in future would be a solution. I will try app lockers for now.

I highly doubt they will add this as it's not a parental controls app. Test DPC was made for testing policies, just testing. I'll leave a comment anyway.

I agree, it's stupid to have a 5 sec option to get to HSIP (high speed internet porn). Even when you are in public you might access p sites secretly to get a dopamine high which might result in a full blown relapse later on.

However I'm one of those who has tried to block & filter but continued to relapse. But that doesn't mean blocking porn is of no avail. I assume you need to combine two things here to have the best success rates: effective filters and recovery / therapy.
Maybe I'm stupid for trying it just with recovery day in and day out ...

One thing for sure is always a loophole: the devices of other people. Also you just need a TV to find at least porn subs.

Anyways, I want to compliment @xXsinnerXx for this impressive package of solutions!
It's good to know that one have these choices and to see how the thing is growing and getting better and better.

Last year, we had almost no good android filters other that SPIN. Today, we have family link, test dpc, digital detox, pluckeye and many more. Thanks to everyone who has contributed, it wouldn't have been possible without you.

Yes, Digital Detox. Amazing app. I suspended Settings, Chrome and I hid play store in Test DPC. It is too good. Also using an adb command, you will be able to start app automatically after reboot or restart. @Infidel.48 thanks for sharing these amazing apps to community. Thank you so much. Here is the command:

Automation

To start detox automatically from Tasker or similar:
- broadcast
- package: com.urbandroid.ddc
- action: com.urbandroid.ddc.START_DETOX
- time_extra: number of minutes

Example:

Add homescreen app in allowed apps list (by showing system apps and then searching for "Samsung home screen experience view" or something )
You can use phone normally. It can even block safe mode ,if you tick the block power options !!

Some of us have risked breaking their streaks and even relapsed while testing the blockers. So if you know better ways to block porn, please, let us know.
Why should you be using porn blockers?

Because it’s really hard to quit porn when it’s just a click away.

There will be times when willpower will fail you. Say for example, you were very tired or had poor sleep one day.

What if you were having a bad day and you're thinking that watching porn might be a good idea?

We know very little about willpower. But we now know that the prefrontal cortex of the brain is primarily responsible for willpower.

So what damages your prefrontal cortex?

1-Not getting enough sleep.
2-Chronic stress
3-Masturbating to porn.(Most importantly)

That’s why when you relapse once, it becomes easier to relapse again and it becomes much harder to control yourself as you have temporarily damaged your prefrontal cortex. You have probably read this on YBOP, that masturbating to porn decreases the grey matter in your prefrontal cortex. Grey matter represents the cell bodies in the brain. So porn literally kills your prefrontal cortex where your willpower lives.

What happens when your prefrontal cortex is fucked up? This gets us to an important function of the prefrontal cortex: Concentration, that's why you get the worst brain fog ever when you relapse.

(Other diseases of the prefrontal cortex: Attention deficiency (ADHD) & Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder(OCD). )

When you start watching porn notice how your heart rate goes crazy. It will remain high for a few minutes but will eventually fall back to normal. I’m one of the people who believe that the heart is the center of emotion and not the brain. Maybe the brain is involved but the heart is the master of your emotions.

What does that have to do with anything?

That rush your heart gets when you watch porn, numbs your heart, it makes it insensitive to other emotions.

A family member may die, and you won’t feel shit, you will try as hard as you can to cry, but you just can’t feel anymore, your heart is dead.

Things that used to get you excited in the past, like hanging out with friends can’t get you excited now. At this point, only porn can.

But not even “average porn” can get you excited now, the old porn doesn’t make your heart go as crazy as before, you have to watch novel and weird porn to get the same effect.

We need to stay away from this drug as much as we can. If all what a porn blocker can do is to increase the number of clicks between you and watching porn, so why not give it a try? Why not give your willpower an aid?

Porn filters are there to stop you when you are thinking you can’t take it anymore, it can stop you when you’re about to do something you’ll regret.

DO NOT use porn filters as a crutch, they are just there to help you when you’re weak.

If you depend on them too much, you will always end up finding a way around and watching porn.

Porn blockers should buy you time, allow you to use your will power in achieving more important goals and provide accountability(if possible).

Saving your passwords

The best method is the last.

1-You could let a friend or a family member to directly enter the passwords and it's very important to tell them to save it somewhere, for example, using the "Note" app on their phone.

2-Another option is to type a random password in notepad e.g. lsfdjaljfalsjfaljf8y7ysfy7

then copy that password and paste it in the application you want to lock like forticlient for example, then paste it again in a message to your friend, then finally delete that message on your end so only your friend could see it.

3-Use lockbox.pluckeye.net
Enter a random password in notepad: jasfjdhashf87ahfa8f78a7fhas

Then copy this shit and paste it in the application you want to lock e.g. Forticlient.

Paste the password again in lockbox.pluckeye.net

Why I think this is the best way?

because people, I mean kids, could trick their friends and tell them that they need the password urgently while they only want to watch porn. But here, you will have no choice but to wait.

Tips from pros

1-Telegram:

A) Telegram contains some NSFW content. If you want to filter those and have a whatsapp-like experience on Telegram use Cloudveil messenger:

It lets you allow your safe groups and channels and block the rest. You could lock its settings using self-lock or by adding a parent (supervisor).

C)TelOchat: Another safe telegram client with all bad channels and groups blocked automatically. If you want to allow a group or a channel, you could request it.

D)If Cloudveil desktop version is still allowing bad content, you could remove it and use Telegram Web version (https://web.telegram.org/) and filter it using pluckeye or cold turkey:

Those rules will block images and videos on all Telegram Chats WHILE allowing all text for all chats. (Copy all and paste)

so we'll execute this:

Finally, block the Telegram Desktop app:
pluck + block telegram.exe
USING COLD TURKEY:

You will notice in Telegram web that each chat has its own unique URL, so you could just allow images and videos on safe chats that you want:
Say for example that the following URL is for a safe chat:

so you add to Cold Turkey exceptions:
web.telegram.org*g488858590*

Repeat this with chats that you need

Now, you need to add any of the safe chats that you have allowed to your bookmarks (ctrl+d), use this bookmark to access telegram as the next rule will block access to telegram web home page. You don't need to bookmark all safe chats, only one is needed.

Now add the following to your blocked sites:
web.telegram.org/

2-Activtrak:
https://activtrak.com/
This one is an accountability software that allows adding up to 3 devices for free. If you visit bad sites, it will send notifications to your friend/wife phone showing them what you have visited. It will make you think twice before trying to open porn.

This one is different because most accountability softwares are not free.

Cold Turkey: Blocks URLs using keywords.
If you want to protect certain files from being deleted, try Easy File Locker (V2.0 will work well on windows 10 but newer versions suck)+ Anvi Folder Locker

1-Forticlient 6.0 (better than the discontinued k9 web protection)

-It may not work well with some anti-viruses as:

1- Eset antivirus --> All Web pages will not load, or will load very slowly.

Why FortiClient?

FortiClient has one of the LARGEST website categorization database. You will never find a porn site or a proxy site that’s not blocked by FortiClient.

Also, it filters all apps including emulators like Bluestacks and Android Studio.
It works well when you're connected to a VPN and all bad sites will remain blocked.
It cannot be removed without its password

The biggest downside with forticlient is that it causes problems with youtube and we will have to edit its settings to fix it.

Check out Cold Turkey (below). I have added a configuration that blocks the known ways to bypass forticlient.
If you find any way to bypass Forticlient, let me know, so I could fix it.

2-Fapsecure

Can only be removed using its password or you will have to wait for 4 hours.

Once you run fapsecure, it will generate a file called fapsecurepw.txt in your C: drive. It contains the password to remove fapsecure. Copy that password and paste it on lockbox.pluckeye.net by creating a new box. Don't forget to change the delay to a few hours (or more). Once you're sure that everything is working fine delete the password from the file fapsecurepw.txt.
To uninstall, open Fapsecure-stop from start menu and paste the password using the right mouse click OR ctrl+v THEN press enter. If you lost the password, just enter 3 wrong passwords and fapsecure will be stopped after a delay of 4 hours.

-Features of Fapsecure:
*Enforces safe search on Google, Bing, Yandex.
*Blocks other search engines like duckduckgo.
*Blocks images on Reddit and twitter.
*Blocks tons of porn sites and proxies.
*Blocks VPN/proxy extensions from the chrome store (They will never connect)
*Prevents bypassing other blockers by messing with their permissions.

*Fapsecure protects your date and time from being changed. This is very useful, if you want to lock Cold Turkey Blocker till a certain date. This requires rebooting your PC.
*Changes your device's DNS to Cleanbrowsing family. More info here: https://cleanbrowsing.org/filters (In short, Cleanbrowsing family blocks porn sites, proxies, VPNs, mixed sites, enforces safe search where possible and blocks unsafe search engines.)

In addition, fapsecure will:
1- Disable youtube restricted mode enforced by cleanbrowsing.
2- Unblock reddit.com and at the same time images and videos will remain blocked by cleanbrowsing.

DNS changes will affect:
*All of your interfaces interfaces (Wifi and Ethernet).
*Both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.
But won't affect your home network, of course.

Hint: If you want to filter youtube while using Fapsecure then use pluckeye

4-Pluckeye (customize it to block only porn sites):
This is an essential blocker. Do not skip it.

5-Cold Turkey:

Very similar to pluckeye, has the advantage of being able to block URLs using keywords.

You could still use it along with pluckeye. You won't lose anything.

If you installed pluckeye before installing Cold Turkey, then you need to change pluckeye's level to level 1 (disable system feature) or you won't be able to install Cold Turkey's browser extension properly as the "Allow in incognito/private" will be disabled when you're on level 2. Once you enable "Allow in incognito", change pluckeye's level to 2 again.

The custom blocklist:
*Blocks porn/proxies/VPNs + VPN apps
*Blocks sites that contain bad (porn) keywords.
Note that this list blocks bad sites based on keywords
*Blocks many tools that could be used to bypass the blockers.
*Patches methods that are used to bypass forticlient and other similar blockers.

You could edit the list as you wish.

Hint:
to block the google images search add this:
*tbm=isch*
to block the google videos search add this:
*tbm=vid*
(Create a new block and add those keywords, don't add them to the block I uploaded in this thread. It won't work)

Which type of lock should you use?

Leave it unlocked for a few days till you test the configuration.

A)You could select the "Timer" option and lock it for a few days. You could change your system's date and time to bypass this, that's why fapsecure blocks date and time changes. Do not lock it for more than 7 days. Locking it for a long time doesn't mean you are not going to relapse. The configuration could block safe sites (keyword blocking) and you could end up wiping your windows to be able to access important sites and you'll relapse at that point as you'll end up with no blockers at all.

B)You could buy a Cold turkey lifetime license for 39$.This will let you password protect blocks. Use a random password that you can't remember and save it on lockbox.pluckeye.net. Don't delete the blocks that you password protect because you won't be able to password protect them again.

Filterlock (optional):
Disables system restore.
Disables Fresh start in Windows Defender
Disables Windows 10 reset.

5-Qustodio:
I had to mention qustodio because it's worth trying and you can install it together with any other filter but never use it alone.

*Blocks porn & proxies
*Forces safe Google, youtube (moderate restrictions), bing, duckduckgo, etc.

You might want to sign up for an account using your friends email. After you login on the qustodio app on all of your devices. Ask your friend to change the qustodio account password.

To prevent removal of this app, you'll need to activate its Device Admin permissions manually. So open your phone's settings and type in the search bar: device admin
Now, you need to enable device admin permissions for Filter Chrome app.

You could easily turn that off, so you'll have install "Adult Block" which blocks changes to Device Admins and Apps with accessibility permissions once you install it (Adult block will be discussed later)

If you want to use the latest version of Filter Chrome, you'll need to use Test DPC to protect it from being uninstalled. As the device admin trick won't work with the newer version.

Excellent porn blocker that filters even in-app browsers. But it's still recommended that you block browsers other than chrome.

As usual, you'll sign up using a friend's email or using a temporary mail. And for the password you'll type random letters in your "Notes" app on your phone and copy it and paste it as your account's password. Then you save BOTH the email and the password on lockbox.pluckeye.net. Kaspersky is not a joke. If you lost the email or the password, it would NEVER allow you to uninstall and if you tried to be a smart ass and attempted to mess around with your Device Admins, it will lock you out of all apps for some time.

Setting up this one is a bit tricky as it will lock your phone's settings by default. So you'll have to login to https://my.kaspersky.com/ then select "kids" then "applications" then select your phone. Scroll down till you find settings and enable it.

It also blocks many other apps by default like telegram and google play music, so check out all of the forbidden apps.
