to be honest, i think i work on my problem better than you - i try to stay completely out of sex and porn, and try to be really clean. while you fuck girls as a porn replacement and claim to have a moral superiority over me, that's absurd.

from my understanding, the Muslims cover woman for everyone, also grown man. you can claim that you know better, but you didn't confront the fact that a 1000 religion old has decided that the best method is to cover woman up. so you basically mean you understand better than 1.5 billion people, that you (while keep having sex with girls) know how to control yourself better with porn (duh! you have sex !), and they speak BS ? you have completely avoided the subject, again - not very honest from your side, and not for the first time

 

It is not solved but Journey Starts there. It just helps in getting away from it at first. But I think the use of blockers just makes mind automatically seek porn if there are no blockers or if your blockers are disabled at time. Also, Blockers pose like a challenge and human minds try to solve it and thus may end up relapsing. They are good way to start but It is better the earlier you realise that they are not going to make to get rid of porn.
I have seen people here say that "ohh...you can get rid of that blocker by resetting/factory reset". I mean how do people do that? Don't they lose all data? If you think like that it means that blockers are not something that can help you alone (or maybe at all), you need self control and willpower. Sure, you will fail but that is how will power will increase.

I am not saying that you should try removing blockers or anything. You can do what works for you. But I seem to have lost more time in setting up blockers that seem to provide no help. Just an observation.

First of all this isn't me vs you. Second I don't fuck girls as a porn replacement, I watch porn as a girl replacement. Just like everyone else. Or do you prefer pictures over the real thing? Third, when did I claim moral superiority? Just because I disagree with you on blockers? Fourth, leave religion out of the picture in this conversation. It's not appropriate for me to talk about it and it's not appropriate for you to make an argument from authority (look it up).

 

Please , the focus here is to implement the porn blockers system , not arguing with people about how to quit porn.
If you guys want to discuss about moral stuff and the effective utility of porn blockers just start a new thread.

Hey everyone,

I thought I had everything in my blocking system figured out, but unfortunately there is a loophole in my strategy.

I have DNS filtering set-up through my router, with no access to change it, password locked, etc. but pretty much most browsers such as Firefox and Chrome let you change the DNS settings WITHIN THE BROWSER.

Basically with a click of a few buttons the whole custom DNS filtering done through the router becomes useless. Like wtf?!

Does anyone have a solution for this? Or maybe it has already been addressed, and I missed it? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

 

Is it possible to block adult content on VK platform? It's the only place where I can find currently.

 

Okay thank you for the heads-up. I read in the manual that it only works with Google, Yandex, Baidu and Bing, what about Duck Duck Go?

Also, should I be updating anything before I download Fapsecure. Right now I have a custom filter (paid version) with Clean Browsing set up through my router, anything else I should do?
