  1. Hello, I have Filter Chrome, Spin Browser and App lock on my Samsung galaxy a52. Is there a way that I could block the restart function?

  4. Hi, I have another question. I use Fapsecure and Pluckeye for a very long time on my windows laptop. However since a few days Reddit doesn't work well anymore. I can only see the first 5 posts and when I click on a post I see only a couple of comments. Also some images are not loading well. I uninstalled Pluckeye but then the problem still exists. Could this be caused by Fapsecure? I saw you are not supporting this app anymore. For other websites I don't have this problem.

Have you upgraded your windows laptop to windows 11?
There is a way to fix reddit by editing the hosts file:

  6. Unfortunately my laptop is too old to upgrade to windows 11.
I tried this fix but when I click on the blocklist for the hosts file it's blocked, by Fapsecure I think. Is that correct?

No, fapsecure doesn't block github, it's probably pluckeye's keyword blocking. you'll need to allow https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ on pluckeye.

    Here's a copy of the file's contents:

Sinner76 I can't thank you enough for all of this work and information, it's incredible. This thread is exactly what I needed.

I use Plucky on macOS Ventura, the latest os, and I downloaded Fapsecure to shore up Plucky's system level 2 function. I don't know what happened, but I deleted the original fapsecure folder I downloaded, and now fapsecure isn't working. I downloaded a new zip file, unzipped it, and tried to uninstall it, but the password I saved in my lockbox on pluckeye's website also doesn't work. I ran the 4-hour uninstall command, waited, entered my Mac password, and fapsecure still didn't uninstall. Fapsecure REALLY helped with the hole in Plucky's system level 2. Is there a way I can remove it from my computer and start again?

Again, thank you so so much for this program and all this work. You're amazing.

I can't test fapsecure on Ventura right now. And deleting the fapsecure folder should make no effect. Can you tell me what did you do exactly? Did it just stop working after upgrading the OS?

Anyway, you can enable pluckeye level 2 by disabling SIP from the macOS recovery mode terminal.
To lock the recovery mode on M1+ macs you'd need a MDM like SimpleMDM.
SimpleMDM will ask you to install a profile (.mobileconfig) to enroll your device. Don't install the profile directly because you'll be able to remove it easily from System Preferences>Profiles. First, you'll need to unsign then edit it using Apple Configurator 2.
Open Apple configurator 2, click on file>open and open the mobileconfig.
Again click on file>unsign profile. Now, the profile is editable.
Add a removal password to the profile. From General>security and change "always" to "with authorization" and add a random password, save a copy on lockbox.pluckeye.net
Save your changes and install the profile. This will just enroll your device. You need to set a recovery lock password.

Go to your SimpleMDM account and create a recovery lock password profile. Make sure you uncheck generate random password. Enter a random password and save it on lockbox.pluckeye.net. Finally assign that profile to your Mac.

Recovery lock password is not an real configuration profile so when it gets applied it will return an 'unknown status', this is normal.

Thanks for replying! Sorry I'm trying to reply directly to you post but for some reason I can't.

It's been a couple of weeks so I'm not certain exactly what I did to start all this, but I do know that when I run the 4 hour uninstall command, I'm asked to press enter to remove Fapsecure. I hit enter, than I just get a blank command line. It seems like it get's uninstalled, but I'm not sure. But then when I try to start over and re -install, I'll get the message

Fapsecure was already executed, so if you made any changes to mydns file, they will be ignored.

So it seems like it just doesn't uninstall fully? I don't remember why I deleted the folder, I wish I did, but I know all the files in there were deleted, like my blocked apps list and so on. If I try to edit the new files I downloaded to adjust the program, like the blockedapps list for example, it doesn't change anything. I wish I had more info to give :(

I'm a little worried to disable SIP since I like that security, but I will give this a go until I can get fapsecure working since this program is WONDERFUL.

The uninstaller should not just give an empty response, it should give you a message that uninstallation is complete. Could you try pressing enter if it gives you that empty response, it might be waiting for user interaction. I really hope this works.

Edit: I think I'm starting to understand where the problem is coming from. I'll let you know when if I fix the problem in a next update

At @joshuar can you put your post in spoiler so that others don’t immediately see a way to circumvent their existing controls?

Sorry if it has been asked but anything good for iPhone? I block porn on router settings, delete the password but I find a way back every time, also it doesn’t block porn on Twitter or Reddit if I download the app. Is there anything I can do to block where I then can’t remove the block after when I get a craving? I’ve just changed dns, got router setting on with password deleted, so I have to go through the ball ache of an account reset, any more annoying sets or hurdles I can add?

Have someone else set up parental controls for you and they have the passcode and whitelist allowed apps.
