Can't we just uninstall the forticlient and bypass it? Also does it block websites if I use Microsoft store's broser app?

If it's protected with a password like in the instructions, you won't be able to uninstall it except if you enter the password. Trust me, it's not easy to bypass forticlient. But my advice is don't try hard to bypass the good filters because it takes a lot of time to find replacements.

It's a system-wide porn blocker, which means it filters all apps. So I guess it filters Microsoft store's browser too. If it doesn't then tell me and I'll try to find another way.

Thank you brother. Forticlient is working and it is great! I was searching for an alternative of k9 but couldn't get until reading this post.
One more thing I wanna ask is that does there any way to block any random site permanently by using Forticlient? Like twitter? Because it has also a lot of filthy contents.

  5. Yes, in Forticlient you have to go to web security, then click on change on the top right. In exclusion list you add the url you want and tick deny.

No problem man. Terminat0r has already answered your question. Alternatively, You could use pluckeye to block images and videos on twitter.
Those are the domains for twitter media. You could block those using forticlient and it will block images and videos on twitter:
    pbs.twimg.com
    video.twimg.com

Hey, I clicked on the link to download your ForceDNS on my windows.
I downloaded the zip file, clicked on "open". Then nothing happens..
How should I go about this? Should I DM you?

You should extract all of the files to the same folder, then run family.exe

Sorry, that type of language is way over my head.

What is the different between click to download and extracting?
    What is the "same folder"?
What is a family.exe. Do i install it? How do I "run it"?

    **UPDATE**
I used winzip to unzip the file.
I read your text instruction. It says that ALL device will be affected. Does this mean everyone using the same wifi will be enforced with the cleanbrowsing DNS?

    This is for my PC.
I also have a MAC, hoping to change my router pw.
I live with a housemate. If I were to change DNS to cleanbrowing on the router, will his computer be affected as well?

    No, only your PC.
    Yes man, of course.
You could change the router's DNS this will filter porn but will also switch youtube to restricted mode and block reddit and your friend might not like that.
Running fapsecure will allow reddit (without images) and switch youtube back to unfiltered mode. Unfortunately, fapsecure is not available right now as it needs an update.

Hi @xXsinnerXx, what is the purpose of keeping the password? What other reason would you need to unlock the blocker but to access porn?

  15. Content Blockers can easily be disabled if you try... how does DNSCloak prevent this?

Just in case it blocked an important safe site.
Or it may need to be reinstalled, for example, and you can't remove it without its password.

No filter is perfect. Especially if you're still trying a filter for the first time, I recommend you keep the password on lockbox.pluckeye.net

If you're comfortable enough with a filter and saving the password proved to be harmful, you may enter a random password. But I don't recommend that. I think lockbox is safer.

DNSCloak does not prevent you from turning off the Content blockers. Enabling "limit adult content" from "screen time" does.

DNSCloak is for perfection. I personally use it.

Added ForceDNS for OS X. This is very similar to the Windows version. It prevents you from changing your DNS to anything other than CLeanbrowsing Family.
