This guy in my class is so unmotivated, and so depressed looking, that he must pmo..
On another note, I feel lucky, that I only stuck to soft porn.. I think I was highly susceptible to more hardcore, but I seemed to get this feeling that if I went more hardcore, an invincible person would be Watching me and saying ur so disgusting.. Also if u are not someone who exercises, ur more likely to go beyond soft

You might want to ask that guy some questions that someone dealing with PMO would answer "yes" to.

    What would the questions be?

If you were that guy, what would you have liked to be asked? What questions/ other symptoms of PMO did you have to finally admit to having?

Because you are the person doing the asking, it might be better for you to form the questions so that's why I'm only giving criteria for which to consider.

Lol the thing is that I can't really say anything, because he doesn't like me.. He's made that clear with a couple of indirect comments.. It's most likely he doesn't like himself and is just projecting onto me, cuz I'm good looking, tall, and I talk more confidently after 100 days of nofap.. He would like me before nofap because back then I would make sure everyone likes me.. But I would only ask such a personal question when I'm fully rebooted and Idc about his response,, because right now I'm in a flatline and it would be hard to address that with him.. But I have his email, I can just create an anonymous email and sell him on nofap.. DO YOU WATCH A LOT OF PORN? REGAIN YOUR LIFE BACK AND GAIN CONFIDENCE WITH GIRLS.. #yourbrainonporn.com#nofap.com

I just face palmed so hard I left a hand print. Being a social introvert myself who is constantly inaccurately judged, this hit a little bit of a nerve with me. Get some damned facts first.

That's really judgmental. You don't know what he is going through. He might be suffering with depression, he might be having problems in his personal life... You shouldn't make assumptions about people. He might PMO. He might be suffering with depression. If he's not your friend it's not really your place to say anything.

People have different concepts of hard and soft. The mainstream porn that you would find on the front page of a typical tube site or via a web search is pretty hardcore. Your judgement of soft and hard is arbitrary and therefore you shouldn't use that to form judgements about others. I couldn't find any evidence of a link between porn use and exercise (please post if there is one) so you're last point is an opinion, which you're entitled to, but please don't post it as if it's a fact.

I agree I'm being too presumptions. I apologize for that. The thing is that as someone who used to have major depressive episodes, I know he does not have that, so when u say depressed u gotta be specific.. He has situational depression at best , which is mild depression.. I can't pick someone out and make assumptions.. But wat I can say without bias is that the number 1 cause for adolescent's mild depression is pron. I don't need to show u facts on that, u probably agree with that.. I focus on adolescents for my argument because the accumulation of their issues vs the accumulation of an adults issues is far less on average.. So in a case where a kid has no family issues or much of anything and is mildy depressed, the assumption is that they watch pron and I agree, only make this assumption if u know the person well and i don't know this guy well so I take wat I said back.. But the thing is that I do hope this guys only problem is that he pmos, because if this community expands, he will be able to recognize his unhappiness.

actually u guys are being overly sensitive, I take wat I say back.. U guys are saying that he might be depressed for other reasons.. But the likelihood that he pmos is pretty high. I don't say it's fact.. But based on how many pmo it is likely.. So he depression, if he does pmo, is partly because of pmo.. So when I look at a mild depressed teen,, I'll say to myself their is a good chance he pmos.. That is not to suggest I'm saying it his the main source tho..even Lots of happy people pmo lol

I've had depression and anxiety since childhood. I also had issues with posture (I partially blame heavy backpacks for part of this). I hadn't been introduced to the internet until I was nine or ten. Porn wasn't a part of my vocabulary until twelve. The one part I might be able to agree with to an extent, that if he's depressed then maybe he pmo's. But I'm going to say that it's not a cause of a problem, instead is either a.) a result or b.) makes it worse.

There's a study that's come out that says that there's an increase in reports of depression from young millennials. Technology is being given part of the blame. People are on their smartphones instead of socializing. So to expand upon the study, a portion of them are pmo'ing more instead of socializing. Therefore, those who are prone to depression are losing an important buffer to depression which is other people.

I think this is the closest we're going to get to agreeing.
