I need some help on stopping wet dreams. So it’s not really urgent but it’s gotten to the point where I’ve tried more than a few things and none have panned put. I’m 5 months into my streak after a short couple failures and despite that, I could be feeling a lot better. I have wet dreams 3-4 times a week almost like clockwork and the dry streaks without them haven’t proven to have been more than antecdotes.
Wet dreams are starting to piss me off. I’ve been getting them at this rate since a few weeks in and I’m more than ready to be done with them. I was making progress until constant wet dreams started clouding me. I haven’t masturbated in like 150 days and I’m thinking about it, now. My mentality for doing this has been: just do it, or in this case, just don’t do it and it’s been as simple as that. I have complete control over if I relapse or not and while I really don’t want to I’ll say this— I’m not going to relapse right now and for certain not in a week but if keep waking up at 5 a.m. having came in my sleep to some stupid porn dream when I’ve done everything possible to avoid them, but at this point I’ll do anything to get them to stop.
I need specific advice: how do I stop wet dreams? No non-answer, vague Mumbai-jumbo, actual answers to help or lead me to what I need to do. Post your theories even, as to why you do or don’t get frequent wet dreams. It’d help a lot and I’d appreciate it, thanks.

stop fantasizing as much as you can. Drink enough water. Embrace wet dreams; it's your body getting rid of excess fluids in your body. More people, more exercise, more meditation and more writing.
    Good luck.

  3. Hello!

I always get a wetdream after a particulrly busy and stressfull days. I know that if I go to bed with any heavy thoughts, I'll wake up with wet pants in the middle of a night. It seems to me that every night you do the same: you go to bed worrying about those wet dreams. So my advice will be just to relax. Just don't think about it. You can try to meditate, but it have never worked for me. Thre is nothing wrong about wet dreams, it's not your fault they happen. You can't control yourself at night. Hence, you need just to accept them and they'll be gone.

I'm on my 7th day now, had one wet dream on a night before my exam.

    Hello @Theseeyes01.
I myself have put effort in avoiding wet dreams and I think I have nearly overcomed. Most of people in this forum will not try to avoid them, they think is going to far. But I think I know how you feel about this. It is not only the nocturnal emission thing, but the fact that you lose the control you have while awake. I can tell you that you can have that same control during sleep. When I happen to have a wet dream, I do feel more conscious and able to choose to maintain my streak. Every day that passes, I feel more strong awake and sleep.

First of all, ignore the comment of this fapstronaut:
Semen is not urine. None of the components of semen is surplus, all is needed: first, to sustain your life; second, to propagate it (procreate).

Entering now in the main topic. We will assume you don't fantasize while awake (or you do it very little). I will tell you what I do before sleeping and how I sleep:
    • Dinner. Enough for the body. When I go to sleep I have already done digestion and I can feel a little hungry.
    • Water. Although drinking a lot of water is good during the day, after dinner do not drink any of it.
    • Sleep in hard surface. I sleep in the floor using two blankets and a sleeping pad (for the cold, important).
    • Cover during sleep. I sleep in underwear, covering myself with just a blanket. Enough to not have cold, but not too much to be hot.
    • Position. When you notice yourself face down, turn around. The pressure in the urethra can trigger those dreams.

As an extra (though a little vague), you could convince yourself that you are going to remain conscious while sleeping (or travelling).

It’s weird, I did have this kind of lucid control a couple times in a dream where, I wasn’t actually lucid dreaming, but I decided I wasn’t going to have one and I didn’t, though I haven’t been able to do that since, at least not in-dream.

I too had one today, although I remember myself being able to somehow control the ejaculation to some degree, it still was a careless moment.

When I quit weed I had dreams of smoking up, so I think wet dreams are something similar. We are not providing our brains that intense hit of porn so it’s definitely progress.

I have the same problem and I've tried everything to stop,I've not even attempted to start rebooting yet although I intend to. I can go a few days without coming but I start to get a physical ache which can become really painful then on three or four nights max I'll have a wet dream. I don't always fully ejaculate but at least get a noticeable amount of semen leakage.
I went through this phase like most people around 13-15 and then it was only on rare occasions but over time I've had several phases where they occur much more frequently. I've used a pharmaceutical remedy called nf cure but it had no effect. I recently tried a hypnotic tape too but so far nothing's worked. I I should try to avoid contact with a woman I've been having a lot of wet dreams over recently and hope that out of sight will be out of mind?
