Urine leakage at 18 years old?

    Is this actually normal during a reboot? It's really bugging me that up to 5 minutes after going, a few drops might decide to leak out. I've also had very frequent urination for a while, but I can't really tell if that is related.

    Any info you guys have would be useful.

    It's an interesting topic I'm not sure about myself. I feel like I leak a bit too much sometimes. Doesn't matter how much I shake it off lol.

    Best to see a doctor if you are seriously concerned.

    This is most likely "post-micturition dribble" - experience by many men, and is totally normal. Its due to retention of urine in the U bend of the bulbar (spongy) urethra. (a part of the tube that gets the pee from your bladder through your penis out into the world).

    You can sometimes limit it by pressing on the perineum just after you have urinated to force out any remaining urine.

    Sometimes it can be severe if there is dilatation of that part of the urethra, in which case you need to see a urologist.

    Oh, I was under the impression that this was mostly a problem for older men. This had me wondering why it suddenly came on for me in the last month or so.

    I will try applying some pressure next time...
