Using chemical castration to "reboot" or more

    Have any males used chemical castration to eliminate their sex drive, either temporarily or permanently? I've become convinced that sexuality is an inherently undesirable component of my life altogether, to say nothing of PM addiction. I tried progesterone cream to get rid of my sex drive but it wasn't nearly strong enough.

    I even successfully requested my that my therapist write me a letter of recommendation to an endocrinologist to try and obtain chemical castration, but the endocrinologist declined even though she does male-to-female sex assignment surgery.

    I've created a petition for men like myself, who want to get rid of their sex drives, either temporarily or permanently, although I can't currently link to it because I'm new. PM me if you're interested in signing it.

    In any case, have any men here tried this?

    Its effects can be permanent. It really depends what you're using and how long you're on it.

    Sex drive makes me creative, I never wanna kill it. I'm going to channel it to creative pursuits.

    Kill your sex drive and you'll be a zombie. Its what happens when you PMO, it kills your sex drive. Imagine feeling like that all the time.

    Most cultures consider sexual energy to be creative energy, not just to literally create life, but also mental, artistic, and spiritual creativity.

    I am not sure your issue is unwanted sexual energy as much as the need to channel that creative energy in positive ways to improve yourself, the people around you, and the world at large.

    I have not and will not try that. It may seem like a good shortcut, but I'd put my money in training my willpower. I think I'd be better off in the long run.
