I did use a fleshlight before because i though it would help me getting more motivated. To go out and look for a partner. To delete my lack beliefs about sex. To stop binging to porn. I was wrong.

So i trashed it. Such a waste of money :/. But if felt right.

No the first try i was not engaging in the masturbation cycle for 2 days.

Now i am on day one once again.

Do you have any stories or experiences about fleshlight? has it worked for you? do you think it ever works or is it like it was for me just another addiction added?

Why would you think a fleshlight will help you give up porn?? It's a toy for masturbation, it goes hand in hand with porn.
You may even get more addicted as it feels better than your hand for sure

Good for you. You identified a problem and solved it. Keep it up.

    This!

I haven't tried the real deal, but I had other toys in the past, I'm sure those toys are becoming fancy and are well made. But it it something to better treat yourself when you are single, not exactly a platform to stimulate you to go out.

I gather that some guys would like to "practice" with something inanimate first before doing the real thing, maybe to avoid building up performance anxiety? I find that using a man toy like that sends him a message "you are forced to use synthetic, cause its the only option" and its not good for the self-esteem.

    My 2 cents.

Well, i though that as 'Ikindaknew' mentioned. That it would help me to perform when i got into a relationship again. Also that is would "act" as the real deal. Making it more likely for me to not have ED problems as i had i my previous relationship (always finished by dethgrip). Also which sounds a bit silly saying out loud but that it would help me with stamina the thrusting part. Being worried that my "hip muscles" will get bad by not being used, maybe also a bit conditioned there seeing male pornstars going at it like there are some 'duracell bunnie'.

Yeah i am a bit messed up sometimes in my thinking :p

I also though that maybe that would make me more motivated to find the real deal. And thereby to not to want to use pornographic material.

    But it led me to

As my husband and I have practiced karezza (see link in my signature) I've learned that hard and fast is not always the best! I'm here to reinforce that what you see on movies and porn is NOT reality. Don't fall for the lies.

Yeah that is what i figured. But watching porn seems to create this unconscious assumptions. About how one should look. How one should preform. What is attractive or not and so on.

So i think that just "abstaining" from porn recovers that. So alot of conditioning going on watching porn i would figure. Not figuring out what is really "real" but just assuming something being real because it seems that way by watching porn.

Jacking off or using a fleshlight is not going to develop your muscles or get you in shape, lol. Your dick doesn't need to be worked out, it's probably the one part of your body that gets stronger when you don't use it. I don't know about those claims of exercises for the penis, but I think you probably already know that excessive jacking off does not lead to stronger erections.

If you want to get fit, work out! Lift weights, deadlifts will give you all the hip strength you will ever need. You will be able to break your partner in half if you want to, lol.

As for PIED. Most of what people are talking about here is PIED due to porn addiction and no longer being stimulated[ getting erections] by real partners instead of porn. I've heard about the fleshlight being used to treat something called "death grip" where apparently the penis becomes desensitized due to grabbing it too tightly while masturbating [deathgrip] and it becomes desensitized and very difficult to achieve orgasm [ to blow your load] while having regular sex due to your being used to the tight grip and vigorous stroking the softer vagina is no longer as stimulating. This doesn't sound like PIED but rather trouble or taking too long to achieve orgasm while having sex. If you want to last a long time maybe not the worst thing, assuming you can keep it up?

As already mentioned by a previous poster using a sex toy is pretty humiliating, and I don't think you will be doing yourself any favors using one. I would stop watching porn as well as stop masturbating. The urge to Jackoff goes away in time. I didn't jack off in my teens and twenties, and I had no desire to do it. The longer you abstain the less you will desire it.

Yeah the problem is that i can not keep an erection also. Think abstaining from porn will help.

Yeah i do lift weight, but i can do more. But yeah i do not want necessarily be a Duracell bunny. Just a thing that i thought would or could be lacking in my performance and ability to love. But ofc it probably depends on the person what that person likes.

I’ve considered using a fleshlight but always talked myself out of it. For me any substitute for the real thing probably isn’t a good idea. It’s basically another form of porn. I don’t really have a problem with toys or masterbation in the general sense. But if your goal is to have a meaningful intimate and sexual relationship with someone special, I think all these things can get in the way and interfere. For example, lets say you are home alone one night and horny. You’re not sure what to do. You’re kind of tired and unsure. You could A: Go to your favorite coffee shop and read a book or B: Use your fleshlight and go to sleep. I mean do you see where I’m going with this? You could actually meet someone real at the coffee shop or at least make a new friend or at the very least have a nice intellectual experience. But using your fleshlight is just replacing a real experience in my opinion. Believe it or not I am still curious to try one, but for this reason I always shy away.

Yeah the reason i bought it in the first place is that i always been wondering about this kind of stuff. So just felt like not resisting that curiosity and just try it.

But yeah that coffee shop example says something about that. Because you loose out on so much using fleshlight. It might give a good sensation. And that you feel more like you are doing the real deal which is why you mastrubate in the first place. But it becomes an addiction. You rather just use it and have that as a girlfriend (as crazy as that may sound).

You hear girls getting addicted to dildos. Guess it the same with men's sex toys to. You see some people on forums that bought like 30 kinds of sleeves some of them porn stars.

So yeah to be more out there. Even just having some kind of connection with girls. I think is a good idea. Just have to be more courageous.

And i would say that the toy was good and it does what it does good. So i do understand why I have hears so much good things about this stuff. But it did get a bit worn out after a while (not making it as good for curing death grip then anyways).

It is not really a good replacement of the death-grip.

I was in the same boat as well, I thought buying a "pocket pussy"(smaller version of a flesh light) two summers ago would helped me not look at porn anymore as well cause I have something to look at and something that may feel like "real thing" but I wrong though it only enhanced my desire to look more cause it still part of viewing. Never less I didn't have it very long and I believe that sec toys are a big no no.

Does it even feel like the real thing? It can't contract or get more wet as you go. Also a real vagina isn't equally soft everywhere. Some things you just can't replicate with plastic.

The worse is that right after you come in those things, because you already feel that drop of sexual interest after orgasm, you look at it for what it is...a device...then you have to clean it....and its like jeez, a darn tool.

And you gotta let it dry.
And all the preparation like warming it up etc before use.
And the most tricky part... trying to hide a 7-10 inch glossy black cone if you want it to be secret.

Nobody in their right mind would ever assume it to be a torch at first glance lol.
