I used to use K9 Web protection but they have been shutdown. I had this method where I would create an email account just for k9 and then create a password I would forget. Every time I would try to look at porn, K9 would block it. In order to bypass that block, I would need a code. To retrieve the code I would need K9 to send it to this email account. However because I did not know the password for that email account I would have to go through the process of creating a new password.

As you can see the entire process was complicated and tedious. And I found it very effective for overcoming impulsive porn viewing. Its too bad K9 no longer exist. I am wondering if I can do the same thing with net nanny?

It surprises me that a lot more people don't use pluckeye. You wouldn't need a password for pluckeye.

In my opinion I think what happens with pluckeye is people download it and then add the extension and just think what the heck is all this and don't know what to do. This is what I actually did in the beginning. But what people eventually realise is the more they learn about it and use it that it is actually the best blocker out there by far.

This is somewhat of an issue with pluckeye. It's not something you know how to work right away. There is always more to learn about how to use it correctly. There is actually a pluckeye forum for this reason.
