For some 10 years I have been addicted to pornography. Never had a GF and instead of being content with my singleness and enjoying the ways of improving and building myself, I turned inward and constantly look to sexual pleasure to please myself and feel better. For the past 3 years I have been dabbling with getting hookups and dealing with prostitutes because I was lonely and porn wasn't enough anymore. I wasted many years of my life and thousands and thousands of dollars chasing my sexual pleasures. I have been a terrible person and I want my FREEDOM from my horrible ways.

I'm on this platform NoFap for accountability, for journaling, and for being on the road of recovery with many brothers and sisters looking to do the same.

  2. Good luck! I can see that you have great reasons for strong motivation. You might want to start a journal to help you to keep on track.

Almost at day 3 now and I have not given into PMO. Hard mode may get tougher as I expect the withdrawal symptoms to hit me hard in the days ahead. Would appreciate much support and encouragement as I seek to continue this recovery journey. I have to work at home tomorrow and probably for the next week or two so I will be on NoFap often to find refuge and relate to others about my struggles.

  5. It does get hard in the first couple of weeks, as that monster in your brain begins to feel hungry. It will make all sorts of excuses why you should revert and why it isn't so bad — watch out for those excuses! But it gets easier after a while.
