Valuable lesson from the movie "Chappie"

Hellos Gents,

Just finished a fantastic film called Chappie, In which a robot is given consciousness and the movie is glorious indeed.

We take our thoughts and ability to choose for granted sometimes and this movie reminds us the purity of intent can be a force of good or evil.

We can harness a young up and coming conscious being to do or be something of our choosing through influence.

But eventually the being will reach self-awareness and realize it makes its own choices either good or bad.

In the movie, the lesson that really stuck out to me was the make of chappie, his architect or his "God" so to speak told him never to break a promise to stick with a promise no matter what.

How profound something so simple can truly be...

Gentlemen we have made a promise to ourselves not to FAP, not to view porn, and not to orgasm to our HANDS! And by God if we honor our promise to ourselves we'll be fucking living legends.

Not many can conquer themselves, over and over again through history sages have said conquering yourself is far more superior to conquering anything or anyone else...this is true.

Tony Montana of scar face says you got to things in this life Your balls (courage) and your word (promises), and I don't break them for nobody...

Gentleman I urge you to take up the mantle of a promise, dust it off and revitalize promises to their former glory, when you say your going be somewhere be there. When you say you are going to quit mean it!

And for God's sake if you can't make a promise or keep one to yourself make it for your kids, or your future kids, be the guy you would have looked up to when you were a kid.
