My erection comes and goes even when I am masturbating. I start to get nervous about losing my erection and before I know it I lose the erection.I also find that I am less aroused by pornography and am starting to get concerned. Is there any way to pinpoint whether ED is caused by psychological causes or by physical? I am really worried I could have a venous leak that is causing my problems.

Edit: Please respect the serious tag,no trolling.

Your penis is worn out. It needs rest. You need to stop masturbating and let it heal.

    Hey,

The first thing you should do is go to your Doctor- they can perform a physical exam and take some blood and by doing this they can rule out anything physical which will put your mind at rest. Even if it is something physical that could mean many different things that are not as serious as a venous leak. A venous leak is very, very rare (especially in a young guy) and most likely not the cause of your ED. Either way a Doctor can help you rule out any physical reasons and while you may feel embarrassed to tell your Doctor- remember they are professionals and they have heard many men talk about that and other things- it's completely confidential and you have no reason to worry.

If it is not physical then it is psychological and the majority of male ED cases are psychological, your Doctor can refer you to counselling or psycho-sexual counselling in order to work through any issues you may have.

However, as you are here at NoFap- there is a very high chance that your ED is actually porn induced aka PIED- you are here as you know you have a porn addiction and that very often makes it difficult for men to sustain an erection- even while masturbating in some cases.

You really need to quit porn forever but also stop masturbating for at least 90 days in order to reboot your brain and heal your mind. I'm concerned that in your post you talk about masturbating and using porn but you ideally should not be doing either if you are suffering with porn addiction.

I find it interesting that many guys (including yourself it seems) would rather assume they have a serious medical malfunction like a venous leak rather than face facts about what porn is doing to them psychologically.

    Just want to add,

I see you have created a thread previously asking if you might have a venous leak- this might sound a little blunt but you can create a hundred threads on here asking that- none of us are Doctors and can't officially rule that out for you- GO TO A DOCTOR- We can tell you how improbable it is and advise you to STOP watching porn and stop Masturbating for a while- give yourself the chance to heal.

  5. I'll just take a wild guess that you still "refuse to believe " that PMO is your problem, as you've said before , amirite?

I think your question would better be addressed to a Dr..

ChrisPaul: nothing against you personally - it's just that you keep asking these questions looking for anything *other* than PIED to be your issue, even though you are posting on a forum built to deal with PIED. Really, there are only 2 choices: 1) go to a Doctor; 2) Try NoFap. I really don't care which it is, but either is better for you than continuing to make these threads. This number 7 by my count.

They aren't facts. Infact there are neurologist that completely dispute that claim. https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/women-who-stray/201308/erectile-dysfunction-myth . Nofap and other websites make money out of selling this completely baseless accusation.I have been getting good erections recently and what I notice is that I get anxiety during masturbation worrying about if my penis will work, and two I do not get as aroused as I used to. With that being said I have been getting good erections lately and I am not going to believe something just because it is repeated to me over and over again. It isn't that crazy to think that nofap isn't real since basically every single website about ED on the web promotes nofap and penis pumps in order to get you to buy in to whatever they are selling.

This immature guy for example always pops up in my threads. He tells you that nofap will cure your cancer, yet every time I see him he can never make it longer than a day without fapping. If it's so bad why does immature fap daily? Immature gets erections fine so clearly that cannot be the cause of ED lol.

  7. Except that NoFap charges nothing; using the site is absolutely free. And except that you keep coming back here. But whatever.

Have fun CP - you're definitely in the right track. Don't change a thing that you're doing. You'll be glad you stuck with PMO in the coming years.

I'm really not interested in what other websites say tbh- I know for a fact that porn caused my ED. I don't pay to use this site so NoFap isn't taking money from me. If you don't believe porn is an issue then that's your choice but then I really don't get why you are on the site.

Like I said, go to a doctor then.

How do you know for a fact? Lets see the proof? It's funny how all the people that have ED caused by porn turn out to be nerdy anxiety driven white males. So how do you know for a fact?

I'm not especially nerdy (but If I was I wouldn't mind, was that meant to be some form of insult?) nor do I have anxiety. I know for a fact because I went to a Doctor, I had many blood tests done, I've been medically examined, my testosterone levels were checked, I had no physical reason for it to be happening. It therefore had to be psychological- like it is in most cases for young men suffering with ED. I have since attended many psycho-sexual counselling sessions- They have been great and helpful- but there still was not any improvement.

Last year I discovered NoFap- and abstained for about 6 weeks- during those 6 weeks I was able to achieve and KEEP my erection long enough to have sex with my partner and orgasm due to sex. Something I had never managed before (without certain medicines) for over five years in my relationship.

Now, I didn't have to explain this to you, nor did I have to try and help you in the first place- you might consider showing a bit of respect to others who tried to help you- you started a thread asking about an issue you are having and I felt bad for you- I tried to advice and all you have done is challenge my perspective. Due to this don't intend to waste my time and reply on this thread anymore.

In regards to your own ED- maybe it's more difficult to gauge what causes it when you have not had a real life sexual partner and your only experiences is you fapping away to porn...

Anyway- like I said- if you don't believe in NOFAP- why are you here?? Go to your Doctor if you are so convinced your reason for ED is physical.

So you came to nofap with a strong opinion on nofap which you don't seem to want to change - that it doesn't work - to ask what your ED is about? Bizarre.

Have you been keeping up with my thread? I kept fapping through it and now my penis is working again. However,I am still looking to learn more about providing a suitable environment for erections. If someone is going to make a claim that contradicts 90% of medical advice,I am going to require proof beyond anecdotal evidence.

Had a not so good erection masturbating. I stress out now when masturbating worrying about ED! Wish there was more information out there regarding the issue.

Was masturbating when all of a sudden the video froze! I immediately got pissed and lost my erection. After that it was all down hill,I ended up ejaculating with a limp.I am beyond frustrated at this point to say the least.

Maybe go see your urologist or family doctor if this is causing you so much anxiety bro. Also not sure why you're seeking advice from a place that promotes not fapping when you are clearly intending to not stop fapping

Look, I think you should just go with the reboot to see, what happens, because it sounds good that you’re feeling less aroused by porn.

But if you feel like ED is a physical or physcological problem, you can do one of two things.

    1. Look up natural herbal supplements that can help cure your problems.
    2. Go see a doctor.

Bro google ED forums and see what comes up. This is literally the least crappy one out of all the forums there are. Most of them push tremendous amounts of products. Doesnt make sense that fapping would cause that big of a problem. I can see someone get desensitized from porn, but what about limp orgasms? That cannot be right.

  20. The facts are already here, find them and educate yourself on effects of PMO. Obstinance to try to justify PMO is weak.

Other people already gave great, friendly advice. If it doesn't make sense to you, that's your problem to figure out, everyone else already tried being friendly about it.
