    Good job! Remember, it's a battle against your own brain. Here's a good technique to rewire your brain in a pretty powerful way:

    Next time you have the urge to masturbate, don't try to ignore it or reject it. Embrace it. This may sound weird but just embrace the urge. Don't act on it though. Remain in control of your body, and don't move a muscle, all while embracing the urge. This will feel horrible. Really uncomfortable. But after about 10-15 minutes of just sitting like that, feeling this urge fill your body, you will eventually feel better. And your brain will remember it too. Every time it wants to bring up the urge, it associates that horribly uncomfortable feeling that comes with it. Do this every time you feel the urge, and at some point, your brain will just stop creating this urge, cause it remembers the horrible feeling it comes with.

    I did this just yesterday, haven't really had urges since. Try it out and see if you feel better.

    How did you actually manage to stay strong? I get urges like that too, but struggle to control them, like something or someone different takes control and I go on auto pilot

    I kept reminding myself that I didn't want to keep repeating the violent cycle of PMO. I didn't want reach that disappointed low after I masturbate.

    Thanks, I will try to do this when I next get urges, I'm only one day in so I am sure the next few days will be challenging. But your right reminding yourself about the reason you want to quit and the inevitable low after you masturbate you will feel for the sake of an orgasm should work.

    Good, the more uncomfortable and shitty you feel while having the urges, the better. That will leave that imprint in your mind that this particular urge brings bad feelings with it, and it will less likely come back.
