    I'm currently a virgin
I was introduced to pornography at the age of 11. Since then, I've been having issues with pornography... I started masturbation for less than 4 years now, the urge is growing higher... But I'm doing my best to stop... I will dedicate myself to the idea of this community and start the nofap
*I think one of the solutions to help me stop masturbating is to have sex since I'm still a virgin for religious reasons*
Any advice for me... Should I have sex bcos that's what I see to be a major solution for me to stop masturbating

It is your call. Nobody else know your exact situation.
    1. Transmuting your sexual energy yourself is the best thing to do. It needs nobody else. You are independent.
You need techniques to do that. If you choose that way, search for techniques. It is a Hard path(or very hard depending on who you are).
    2. Easy and commonly used way is to have sex. It is good. Having sex is a thing to do cautiously. You need good, right partner.
You may receive many thing from her.

Whatever you choose, take responsibility of your choice.

Honestly, I think you should consider dating with the intention of getting laid. Caveat emptor: obviously I don't know your emotional state, your living situation, your career etc, so obviously you should ultimately decide for yourself.

Your profile says you're 21. I was 19 when I lost mine and I remember feeling like it was extremely late. You might feel the same way.

Looking back I think its sad that I became so focused on the V-card at that age, but on the other hand, being a late age virgin is a liability in the dating market. While some girls don't judge over that, a lot more will unfortunately. I think it also causes a lot of confidence issues that will probably just compound overtime.

As far as whether that will help you stop masturbating? All on its own, getting laid won't do that. But sex within a loving, mutually supportive relationship will fill the void that you're trying to fill with pornography (as long as you're working on yourself during that stretch of time). So I say go for it!

  4. Waiting for a girl who is also waiting for marriage is worth it. Your convictions come first . I waited and it was the best thing I could have ever done. Sex is not a sport, it is not recreational activity. It is a serious bonding activity meant to take place between two lovers who grow to care about one another more than anything else. Any girl who judges you over your virginity is a flake, and a fluff, and a popcorn fart. Any other substitute will be a void, and a waste, including masturbation. I say abstain, retain, and attain unto greatness.

this 100%. If you choose to have sex just so you can substitute sex for masturbation... man, that’s bad. Like GoldenDreams said, it will leave you with a void, plus bring a host of other problems... related to the girl. And it will keep you in the cycle of lust, and no true fulfillment

I wouldn’t do that. Don’t have sex until you’re not dependent on pornography. I was a virgin until marriage, and our first night I was faced my the brutal consequence of erectile disfunction. I just assumed that my natural instinct would take over. was I foolish not to deal with my pmo addiction before that. Let me know if you’d like to talk.

I thiink i think u shold master self discipline over ur sexual feelings b4 gettin married(if u are of age).If ur dont master self control over ur sexual urges, u'll still feel the urge to do it when ur husband is not around.

It's refreshing to see a man who embodies fierce convictions, I messed up once..thinking we were going to marry. However I am chaste and is still looking for a virgin o ratleast a girl who has made a mistake and has changed...the latter will be hard to determine as I have to look at the heart and trust her words..

Am 25 and holding my V card. Unfortunately I don't feel like I need to lose it any soon. It is no asset but why lose it?

'Why lose it?': there are plenty of reasons. Honestly, I'm kind of surprised I have to make the argument in favor of having sex ;). It is physically exhilarating, pretty much the most amazing release imaginable, from the foreplay leading up to the act and the climax, it all makes you feel 'more alive'. In a committed relationship it builds an intense bond that is intoxicating in a way that is impossible to describe.

It is fun and adventurous. It is also a workout/physical exertion. It often involves things like laughter, whispered secrets etc.

And I'm being pragmatic here: losing it makes future relationships easier. I'm not advocating that guys go out and sleep around. I'm just saying that it is probably a good idea to 'break off a branch' at some point. This is pretty blunt, but very, very (very, very, very) few women are going to like the idea of dating a 25 year old virgin. Thems the facts. If you keep holding off, I think you will find yourself as a 30+ year old virgin before you realize it. My friend's brother in law in is that camp and I've known a few other guys like that as well. At a certain point I think you should worry about life passing you by.
