Vitamins/supplements for PIED

Hey, i recentley saw DR.Sam's video on youtube how to take care of ED with vitamins and supplements.
I know there's a huge difference between PIED and regular ED.
Do you guys think those supplements might work?
I mean, one of the supplements he mentioned was dopamine pills such as mucuna pruriens. We all know that Porn has messed up our dopamine levels, that's why i'm thinking these supplements might work... he also mentioned Maca root for energy boost and to improve libido.. and a supplement for blood flow which is essential in order to get en erection.
I'd like to hear your opinions.. if anyone tried it, Feel free to share :)
 
Hey man, I've been taking an L-citrulline supplement for around about 2 weeks now to help with improving my PIED. There's studies that have shown it can help men with mild ED and increasing blood flow to the penis. I'm on 34 days hard mode and have definitely noticed an improvement with my overall erections with morning wood. So I think it has definitely helped and made a difference with recovering. It's also great to take if you workout, as it can increase your stamina with training.
I personally wouldn't take supplements to increase my dopamine levels, as I believe dopamine should recharge a natural way, so then your brain doesn't depend on medication to level things out in the future.
Maca root is a great supplement for increasing libido, same with horny goat weed and testofen supplements.

isnt L - Citrulline for protein metabolism? How does it help you with PIED? I've heard L-Arginine might be better for PIED because it boosts blood flow.
and yeah, Dopamine is a thing i'd probably want to recover naturely. Also Horny goat weed is good for tostesterone which i don't think i need after i saw my blood tests results.

Yes, that's its main purpose. Though if you google L-Citrulline benefits, you'll come across lots of information explaining how it can assist men with ED. It works in a very similar way to L-Arginine by increasing nitric oxide. Essentially allowing more blood to flow throughout your entire body. To answer your question on how it helped my PIED, I've noticed my erections to be a lot firmer when I wake up, I'm assuming L-Citrulline is playing a role with that, because in my first weeks of NOFAP hard mode I was occasionally waking up with morning wood, but didn't seem to be as hard as it is now. Could also just be because the nofap days are adding up, but I believe it's had some effect.
 
Well what is PIED? Its condition when you increase your dopamine levels by unnatural sources (porn) to the point your dopamine receptors are so dull you cannot be aroused by normal dopamine levels from natural sources (like romantic relationship with real person).
Does increasing dopamine level from another unnatural source (pills) help it? Maybe it will help right in the moment but from a long term perspective it can make things even worse.
I would avoid all supplements myself. Its all lsychlogical and only way is to go back to simple, modest, porn free lifestyle and let the dopamine levels drop down till you regain your sensitivity to it.
