Waking from Wilful Ignorance, London

    Hi guys,

    I'm a 23-year-old guy living and working in London and I have a masturbation and porn addiction problem; pleasuring myself at least thrice a day (once in the morning and twice at night before bed).

    I started masturbating to porn at the age of about 13 and have been masturbating daily for the past 10 years. Over the years, I have noticed that my preference for porn is becoming more aggressive and I believe this is inhibiting my confidence in approaching girls for a decent, serious and real relationship.

    My problem has reached such a level that I often reminisce about leaving social gatherings to comfortably slip into my bed, watch porn and 'rub one out'. On weekends, I can lay in bed all day binge watch videos and keep working my penis at intervals throughout the day. This is not how I want to adult.

    It's a great site, and you'll find a lot of support and encouragement.
    There's nothing about the problem of porn and masturbation that you won't find described here.
    You're not alone, and there's a hellava lot to be said for that.
