Wasted Money

I sure have spent a lot of money over the years on porn. I seem to have been the unofficial quality assurance person for the website where I used to shop for DVDs. I reported a couple of bugs to the owner or manager and he was very appreciative and sent me some free DVDs.

The greatest expense for me has been wasted time, lost sleep, low productivity at work, ... but the money was significant too. It's disturbing to see how many DVDs are sitting in my box, and to realize that I have thrown away many DVDs for each that I kept. I've probably spent $1000 per year for the past 5 years easily.

 

I remember telling my friends in school that I would just pay for porn instead of meeting women.
I'm glad I woke up early to realize this is not healthy.

 

I was obsessed with porn stars.
I found a girl who happened to be local. Love watching her videos. I followed her on snap chat etc. Then... I saw her on a dating site. I thought this was my chance. No response. Et voila, I saw her on amother site I tried messaging her again.
Couldn't get a response let alone a date.
I slept with a girl who worked with her at her day job.. asked her.. what's she like what's she into. I was obsessed.
I never felt so pathetic in my life. So much time wasted for what? Obsession is a slippery slope. Porn is so dangerous . It's too accessible. And this was getting too real.

 

When I quit smoking I would put the 10 dollars a day into a savings account - then use it for something you've always wanted. It can help towards a car, golf clubs, a night out whatever.
Great way to spend former porno money is to redirect it towards something great!

 

I don't remember ever paying for porn however i did a few times come close to hiring an escort, something i used to fantasize about but never had the guts to go through with it and now i'm glad i never did. I think financially that would have ruined me
