Watching Prison Documentaries made me want to be like those prisoners, how can I become "manly"?

Discussion in 'Self Improvement' started by Deleted Account, May 24, 2021.

  1. I know that this might sound extremely bizzare, but having watched a lot of Prison Documentaries, I see something "different" in their personalities compared to the "average guy" outside of prison

Of course "want to be like those prisoners" is not about becoming a criminal, that'd be extremely stupid. It's 100% about their personality and "aura"

There's something different, something "manly". It's this kind of "brutality" you'd say, or "life experience". I'm trying to find words for it, but it's tough. This "Life got tough, so I got tough", "Don't threat me", but also some kind of a more "relaxed" attitude, like not thinking much about anything.

I know of what I am talking about. I was never a criminal, but I was once a far-right skinhead for some months. Now, I'm out of that. And during this phase, I got this "manly" attitude that I even forgot about my femdom/foot fetishes. You know, something like "Do you actually imagine a far-right skinhead to be dominated by a woman?", it was just not something which would fit into my head.

You don't really have to go to far-right skindheads or prisoners to see what I mean, you can also observe this kind of mentality in the army, construction work (in general: really tough physical work), even maybe off-grid lifes (History Channel may help haha)

If I see those people, from the good and the bad ones, there is some sort of a "tough" mentality. You may call it "alpha", but there are so many definitions of it. One would call a PUA an alpha, but maybe a monk living alone in the mountains would also be an alpha?

I think the reason why maybe prisoners/far-rightists are the "better" role model (this sounds so wrong lmao) is that they are more "brutal" than someone who lives off-grid, someone in the army (maybe it'd be different under Sargeant Gunnery Hartman). But they use the "brutality" in a wrong way

As you see, it's hard to explain what I see. It's this "no matter if I have to wake up early, I will fuck this day", "no matter if I get beaten up, I will fuck this day". Like "I know no risks, I am the risk". Another thing is that they are in general more extroverted, whereas I simply am not able to go out partying (before covid of course).

You understand what I'm trying to say?

The reason why I want to become as "manly" as those prisoners is to eradicate my femdom, foot, nylon, sissy (like being a sissy) and even to some degree findom fetishes. I can look as manly as I can, but inside, I will always have this side inside me. I just want to find boobs, asses and vaginas attractive and nothing more :(

I can partially get into "that mood" when listening to some really brutal Black Metal (something called War Metal, like Conqueror, Revenge, Blasphemy), but it only lasts for some minutes and I get a headache after listening to something like this (it's just enjoyable for like one minute)

You are seeing this documentaires as you see porn from the point of view of appearance, the external manifestation of energy the shallowness of power.

The energy of a prisoner is anger, hate, treachery, disloyal. Low vibration. You are enchanted for what they project in the outside not who they really are, I'll guess if you watch serial killers documentaires you'll feel the same rush and extrange attraction towards them.

This men are cold, but also emotional they have anger as their primal emotion. A man that is ruled by an emotion it doesn't matter how strong he is, he is a slave of the emotion, a real powerful man its no ruled by any emotion, he is free.

I think I understand what you mean. But I don’t think prisoners are proper role models. I don’t blame you at all of this, I blame our society. Our current society has been feminized so much, it’s hard for men to find someone to look up to and to follow in order to become a man. Luckily, we can find our role models in some part of society, like the military, the fitness world and more.

What I recommend for you is developing your ‘man skills’. Go out in nature, lift some weights, take fighting classes and take some risk in life. Someone recommended a book to me a while ago, and it really helped me. It’s called ‘Wild at Heart’ by John Eldredge.

    Goodluck with your journey.

  4. As I said, I am aware that prisoners are no good role models.

But there is just something about them, this aura of rap (and/or brutal metal music), gym, extrovert, being a sports fan (especially soccer where I am from), this "brutal" language slang ("If I won't clean up, he's gonna fucking murder me" vs. "If I won't clean up, he's gonna be mad at me"), being able to fight (your point about fighting classes), in general being tough and fearless (your point about taking risks), ...

It's just weird. It's like they have testosterone levels of 1000 or something.

It's not only about that, it's also because they definitely don't have weird fetishes, and if they have some they are not of a submissive nature. I can't imagine that someone who's in prison for stabbing someone, selling drugs, wants to

dress like a sissy, behave like a sissy, look like a sissy, destroy their anus with dildos, make their penis unusable by wearing a cock lock for a looooong time, and if all dressed up, to end up worshipping nylon feet of some dominatrixes

They rather want to do simple vanilla stuff

I thought about trying to "transform" into one of those people (of course WITHOUT being criminal, I hope that this is clear!! I am purely talking about personality) by listening to gangsta/prison rap (and sometimes brutal metal), trying to watch soccer (tbh i absolutely hate soccer, i never liked it), doing workouts and somehow trying to raise my testosterone levels (but how?? those binaural beats from YouTube don't seem to work? or do they work?)

No, in my opinion it’s a waste of time
The efficiency of binaural beats is not proven

Moreover, if you want to be a man, it’s not by waiting for some « miraculous » stuff working. If you wait for it, you never gonna get it. It’s your work, the challenge and the difficulty you face that will made you as a man. Not simple made-up recipe.
    Fix yourself true challenges

I don’t think adding « fucking » in every one of your sentence made someone more manly. On the contrary, I believe a true man can speaks with all the best courtesy of the world.

What I understand of what you say is that you search for a fake masculinity, an cliché of virility because you want to hide your shame about your fetish

True masculinity is the liberty of being what’s your true nature (your man nature) is.

Fake masculinity is just a bandage you want in order to confort yourself

You deserve to feel free in your masculine nature.
And I think that fighting your fetishs is far more masculine that adding « fuck » at the end of every sentence

It’s very different, because I truly believe that prisoner are not all « true men » : they can be the slave of the image they want to give, a fake masculinity that is a bandage on their real pain

My mate DanielHanes recommended you the book « Wild at heart », I highly recommend you to read it.

But after all, I encourage you to find inspiring men if it’s help
Manhood is always an legacy, it’s never build from nothing

It’s all an act. They act angry and tough to make the other inmates afraid of them. The ones that are really dangerous are in solitary. It’s not a healthy way to look at being a man. It’s going to an extreme. Only a full reboot will make you feel like a guy again. Those people that yell their heads off and act crazy are really just insecure.

  7. I don't think the thing about prison is the attitude, but the discipline if you choose to use that time wisely. There are people who read and study things as well as exercise with the limited amount of freedom they have. If you stop and think about that it's like we have too much freedom and not enough discipline.

I mean, if you had to choose between the knowledge and fitness you gain through doing that vs. the attitude, which would you choose? Of course you need to do the work for the mental and physical development.

  8. Take a profession or a skill and develop it. Practice it in the real world. Teach the people who wanna be like you.

I can relate so much with your desire to change yourself into those caricatures of manliness.
But yeah, it's an illusion. You should rather put the hard work into beating those addictive fetishes. Heal your self-perception so that you're able to eventually accept and enjoy your more sensitive parts as a useful ingredients in your overall manhood, and not as triggers to a deviant fetish that has nothing to do with your true sexual identity.

What is your job/career? In a few years time you are going to look like what you do most of the time. If you are mostly outdoors doing manual work you will look rugged, masculine and tanned. You will also look older than your years and most likely be dirt poor, so it isnt all good...

Fighting will make a man of you, take uo martial arts or better yet boxing, go in a ring with someone a few times and you will become fearless.

Dont watch sports, play sports. If you are musical, dont listen to metal/rap, make it. Form a band. Stop being a fan and spectator, get involved and do it yourself.
