Till Thursday last week, I was on a 102-day nofap streak. Towards the 3rd month of my streak, I began experiencing wet dreams almost every night. This started to gross me out. I also noticed that I began acting very aggressive and over dominant and was manspreading everywhere. I read a thread that discussed how nofap increases male behavior associated with testosterone and how a huge part of nofap is learning how to control and channel that sexual energy. But the wet dreams and the aggressiveness began to get out of hand and I decided to f**k it and did PMO once on Thursday and once last night. However, starting today, I will be recording a new streak. Looking for tips that help reduce the wet dreams and also how to channel and use sexual energy for productive things.

Yes in Neikung/chinese esoteric martial arts it is said nocturnal fall is because the glass is full of energy. So the body/nervous system needs to be strenghtened. Or while building energies, until a foundation is build such things can sort of happen. The structure could be methaphorically said to become like a unified field or a core instead of a glass/cauldron that spills over. Altough the core can break like a balloon it has some inate flexiblity related to the development of consciousness that the increased energies sustain.

Wet dreams are rather a symptom. We need to dig to find the cause. What do you think issued those nightly wet dreams? (think to yourself, no need to answer)

Similar issue with me. I had 120 day streak. Wet dreams were there but semen release to the bladder wasnt causing too much of a drop in energy. Then I relapsed, 6 orgasms later started again - and lasted 15 days only (relapsed yesterday) but during that 15 days I expected my energy to jump back quickly instead it was dropping even lower!!! I had a wet dream almost every night. Like my body was used to usual routine of a long porn masturbation streak so it decided to release seed anyway!
Its so confusing because what can I do I dont have any control over this shit.

If the Chinese say glass is full and energy is full then yeah, sure but I feel mentally weak like a pussy again - after WET dreams... its unbelievable is there a cure to this craziness

Here, you can take the glass to be hormones. Or bodily constitution.
Weaken that and the energetic field is even harder to sustain. So yes, the glass becomes smaller and spills over quicker. This is were sedentary lifestyle and celibacy was never suggested in ancient times.

The internet phrase "semen retention" is absurd. Your average fat guy playing videogames will destroy himself staying celibate.

Well, no wonder the fat sedentary guy is usually a big time incel wanker, because he is horny, he is weak almost apath. If hes ever faced with emotions, they overtake him easily.

  6. Wet dreams happen because of too much heat/energy in your body. In order to not have wet dreams you need to stay cool...this can be done by cold showers before bed, do not sleep right after dinner, maintaining a cool environment in the room by opening windows etc

As for aggressiveness i am really struggling with that...i take it out in the gym but i am still very aggressive

Sexual energy is the strongest type of energy, there is also masculine energy, and the derived positively polarized type of energy which make aggressive behaviour surge. If one type of energy is lost, the body will try to compensate with equivalent types of energy. I say there is a relation, but not as pronounced as one may think as there a ways to channel that lost energy both actively and passively. You should try to pursue creative activities right after the nightfall or losing the "heat" with exercise or let the emotions "sink in" with meditation as the aggresiveness comes mainly out of frustration.

  10. It could help to avoid caffeine (chocolate, coffee, etc.) at night or even completely if you have a lot of wet dreams. For some reason caffeine consumption at night can trigger wet dreams. Thinking about sex during the day and deliberately fantasizing about it can also cause wet dreams. Other than that they are natural, you'll still get them as long as you abstain but getting them every night isn't completely natural. Should be more of a monthly occurence.

I agree with bken in that deliberately fantasizing about sex during dreams (which is in my opinion avoidable until certain point) is one of the main triggers for night fall. I recently had one, I was about to wake up from my slumber and had already spent too much time sleeping, but due to laziness decided to rest a little longer. There came a moment in where out of the blue some very provocative scenery laid up in my mind and the sad episode just happened, all of which could have been avoided because I went against my own conscious desire to wake up and did not exercise my agency against bodily urges. This is just an example and many have added, there is the discussion (which surely had already taken place in the forum) that this so claimed "natural" mechanism may not be as natural as one may think. I am in the firm position to hold that they are completely avoidable if the correct measures are taken, such as not oversleeping.

  12. Not sure why but each time I manage to wake up before it can happen, I will still get a wet dream the night after that. Like they are supposed to happen. Maybe they really do have some kind of purpose but they're still nasty.

  13. First of all, do you mean your nofap also as no sex? Otherwise i don't get it how to get a lot of
    wetdreams.

But however, it is interesting. I've never turned to testosterone monster or nocturnal semen machine
after over 100 days celibacy :p ️ I've even tried to push to trigger wd by fantasizing and indulging
mind with porn – no success. ️:p It even has felt to be the opposite, the more i saturate my mind,
the less chance it happens. As all my wd:s has happened after long hard days being very very tired
both physically and mentally, without having time to fantasize.

I have little suspection that meditation practice could have something to do with this.

But mate, you shouldn't PMO, just MO if you go that path ️ ;)
