How do you stop wet dreams from occurring?

    What causes them?

Are they preventable or will we eventually have them regardless of what we do?

    Please share your thoughts.

  2. After trying Nofap for years, and on some streaks having no wet dreams at all, and others, several over consecutive nights, I think it's down to many factors, and there's things you can do to try and mitigate them.

For example, if you've fapped and ejaculated many times a day or week, your body is so used to releasing, that even if you stopped fapping, your body needs to release, and will find a way to do it, even if it's involuntary. It's one of those where you just have to stick with Nofap until your body realises you won't fap, and it becomes accustomed to the energy. I also think wet dreams occur as a result of diet, environment and body temperature, thoughts, stress, and fatigue.

There are ways to "prevent wet dreams", like not drinking before bed, reducing sugary foods or just food consumption before bed, not thinking lustful thoughts, reduce room and body temperature, not wrapping your legs around your duvet, or forcing your nuts against surfaces. Also, don't find yourself too stressed out, or so exhausted, that your body has to generate its own way to relax i.e. involuntary orgasm.

I'm now treating wet dreams as a goal of never having them again, doing Nofap so long, my body will no longer find an involuntary way to release.

I haven't experienced a wet dream in my current streak, but if it happens, it happens. There's a thread on here about sperm absorption and maturation, which I believe helps remove the stigma of wet dreams significantly impacting progress too.

    Just a few thoughts.

They just seem totally random to me.

I'm on day 105 or something and the days I've had wet dreams were

    35
    45
    47
    60

So none for the first 35 days and none for the last 45 or so. Yet I had 4 in those middle 25 days, with two of those being only two days apart. On another streak I even had two in one night. I wasn't doing anything different during those 25 days from what I remember so I don't really know what to say. I'm starting to wonder if I'll not have them anymore.

its possible to prevent wetdreams. i have done it in longer streaks. modern milarepa taught me a method. if they become too frequent i might do it but i dont stress if they happen once in a while, it relieves pressure and its natural. but it is possible to stop wet dreams, i have done it succesfully many times.

If you are interested in some effective pharmacological approach to prevent WD from happening, I can share some academic articles with you on a drug used by men to treat the symptoms of BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia - enlarged prostate). Based on the research, if taken consistently for a few days in a row, it effectively eliminates ejaculation reflex, but the subjects still experience orgasms.

I believe dreams are often a mirror of your subconcious. For example, the other day I read a book on the war in Afghanistan. That same night I dreamt about it. Not a pleasant dream. Wet dreams are often a result of fantasizing.

Also, they are the brain's attempt to process out all the load of porn that it's been ingesting - like the mind's vomiting out poison, as a heroin/opium addict vomits out the ingested poisonous drug when in withdrawal. The mind is similar, and it is a good and healthy thing that it's doing during dreamwork, wet or otherwise. Even nightmares are healthy in this regard. Unfortunately, the dreamwork, upon coming up and out, also crosses the visual field of our imagination and internal mind, making us worry about it, if we didn't know better that all dreamwork is a healthy thing. The mind and body (male biology) take care of itself - especially when we stop abusing it and feeding it poison. It seeks an equilibrium once again. It doesn't need our assistance or interference or worry/anxiety, which just becomes fodder for more dreamwork still - one good nightmare might suffice.

Not had a wet dream since day 60 but on day 115 I just had two in one night. Yesterday was a very clean day with almost zero sexual thoughts so there doesn't seem to be much correlation between the two for me.

here is the link, basically tighten your pee holding muscles, then glutes and after that your lower back with a bit of arching. try this before falling asleep in bed laying down. then have the intention of doing that when ever you are in a dream and you feel like ejaculating. it might not happen at first but for me i usually realize when it starts to feel good that this is a dream and i will do that in that half sleep state of mind.

I made a course for guys like you. Soon I'll be charging for it because it contains information that took me years to uncover. One of my students stopped them and found his first gf. Another is now successfully selling clothing online. There are 4 main causes: certain foods, dirty energies, lustful thoughts, black magic.
