    Is it a lute?

Also, the quote in your signature is a major misunderstanding of Jungian theory. You should read Anima and Animus. The last sentence probably has to do more with Plato's Republic than it does Jung. A lot of the backlash against feminism, inceldom, transgenderism, etc. have used Jung as a model. Jung has created seething amongst far-left so-called genderqueer types for ages now, because Anima and Animus makes more of a case for traditional gender roles than "an idealized goal-state... genderless, androgynous society."

Essentially, the anima in males (which is what he's referring to) is an idealized feminine energy that draws on the male's perception of an idealized woman. When it's repressed, or underdeveloped, the anima possesses men. It's not going to do so in one direction-- the incel is possessed by the anima with his obsession towards masculinity and his hatred of women. The male feminist who worships women and grows breasts because he drinks soy is likewise possessed by an anima that is out-of-whack, only that instead of being an object of hatred he worships women as a goddess.

The Virgin Mary is an ideal that Christians worship, and is often highly regarded in very spiritual and masculine cultures like Mexico, and she elicits neither soy nor hatred because in a sense she's a correctly placed anima.

It is by no means equal; if a man's anima was equal to his masculine spirit, it would be impossible to differentiate male and female even before Jung. It's not any less impossible then than it is now, it's why trans people can't seem to accurately embody the other gender.
