Hi all, just wanted to say that one of the reasons my wife recently ended our marriage was that she had a downer on men in general I think. Yes we can be a bunch of big kids (my weakness was guitars etc and going into a music store still gives me EXACTLY the same feeling I got going into a toy shop as a kid!) and yes our brains are too often in our trousers, and yes women have been subjugated for far too long etc etc but I believe the balance is being redressed (not that all women are perfect or I am even remotely advocating anything remotely to do with the nonsense that has manifested as the battle of the sexes nonesense etc!)
I just think its really nice to come across a bunch of guys who are willing to grab change by the balls (ok maybe i could have chosen a different turn of phrase!!?) and do something that helps move us all beyond the stereotypes that the media etc have force fed us for far too long and all I'm the name of 'profit' etc etc and at the expense of everybody! (sorry gals on this site but I'm just aiming this at the guys who are sick and tired of being sick and tired and the 'conditioning' men are subjected to via society's institutions and the self serving conditioning they impose on the rest of us etc etc)
Everything for a reason I say and (trust me) I have really been through the mill lately but I'm still smiling and I wouldn't change a THING!!
Yes we all have our own reasons for being here (and if this post doesn't resonate with you just ignore it) but it just warms my heart that there are so many decent, caring guys (and gals!) out there as I was beginning to think it was just me!!:-D ;-)
