What are some signs that you're on the way back to recovery from PIED/excessive masturbation?
Signs you are recovering:
Morning wood returns
Stronger erections (no more PIED)
Get aroused easier, by normal things
You don’t over sexualise everything anymore
These are just a few. It really depends how bad your addiction was. The worse your addiction to porn is, the better results you’re going to get from quitting. It will take longer, but you will see more results as opposed to someone who was only a light user or moderate user.
Id say morning woods are coming back more frequently, strong erections randomly but idk if itll be hard enough or last long enough for sex or not. Getting aroused more by regular stuff, and no interest in watching porn or fapping.
Morning wood returning is definitely the biggest.
Sexual thoughts is such a gray area of recovery it’s hard to judge what’s healthy and what’s not. I’d say if you got a random boner from looking at a real girl that’s a true sign of recovery.
This is helpful man, i totally agree with the gray area of not knowing whats healthy and whats not. I just want to get myself back to how I was, you know?
Time away from PMO brother. Everyone is different. I’m 140+ days in and had sex no problem the last 2 days but I’m not like a super stud again yet. We just all have to pay the price for the damage that’s been. Done.
have helped me get the dopamine levels back flowing but I know it probably won’t be a full year till I’m 100%.
