what helps with flatlining?

    Hello,
    I'm a long time lurker.
    Background: 28 yo, PMO since pre-teen. Consistently 1-2 times a week for a while. Longest streak is 7 weeks.

    I'm on my day 8, but omg... I've never hit flatline this hard and for this long.
    I normally start feeling good around day 5, up to day 7.
    For some reason, I've been a walking zombie since day 4. This is very unusual for me...
    I've been trying to do nofap for the last 6-7 years and never experienced such inconsistency.

    Currently, I'm in medical school preparing for my Step 1 board exam (biggest exam of our medical career). I have a hard time focusing even just reading a single paragraph. I have absolutely ZERO motivation for this career-defining exam. Usually at day 4, my focus begins to grow sharp. However this time, it's the opposite, I can't even study 20 mins straight.

    Additional Sx:
    - My sleep is horrible. I wake up with a headache and my eyes are extremely heavy. I feel like I PMO'ed the night before.
    - I get so fed up unable to read words on my computer screen that I just watch netflix
    - I never had issue with erection, but I can't seem to get it up even with mild explicit pictures. I haven't tested it with actual prn and i don't plan on it.

    Attempted Remedies:
    - Worked out but no help
    - Cold shower, no help
    - Supplement from Genius mushroom that includes Cordyceps, reishi, lions mane seem to help for like 2-3 hours, but do not want to depend on them. I also take Vitamin B12, C, D with calcium, magnesium, zinc, and omega-3 + probiotics.

    Theories:
    - Although I started PMO at a very young age, I am aware that my habbits are not severe as some of our members. I see people experiencing flatline for weeks, if not months. Many of these members PMO multiple times a day which required a heavier reboot. However, due to less frequency in my habbits, I've never experience such hard flatline.
    - Somethings that are different in this season is (1) came out of singlehood after 4 years. No intercourse but up to oral. On average 2 times a week for a little bit, pushed it to 3 one week. Maybe it's the release that fatigues the brain/body more so than only PMO. (2) the mushroom supplements are also new. I wonder if this modulates neurochemicals which hinders the rewiring process.


    I know to some, 4 day of flatline is nothing, but I've been so flustered and frustrated bc this monster exam is soon and I can't study at all...
