**Potential triggers for some people I guess**

Hey guys! I was just curious to know if anyone had to give up visiting certain non-porn-related websites after starting nofap?

I used to visit 9gag frequently but I just can't do it anymore. Most of the posts are safe, but once in a while you'll get a certain post that will trigger something. I had multiple relapses because of that but now I learned my lesson.

Also, I had to block a few pages on facebook and learn to stop visiting certain profiles.

That's about it for me, just curious to know what other people had to give up!

I've been doing NoFap on my own, on and off for ages. A bout a long while back, I killed reddit on all my devices. It was easily my biggest trigger. To this day, because of reddit's incredibly strong porn community, I can't visit the site casually.

    hey supergolum,

    does,uh, pc games count? :D

i was playing games like tomb raider, football manager 2014,sleeping dogs on my laptop.and my brain is like,"hey turtleggs, bro, just pause that match, get your quick fix,it's too easy just alt + tab and hit the porn site,do your job and you can come back and continue your game" and it really affected me much.

now i just start my laptop, watch one quick tv show,or take a look at what happened in my country, news,or do my job and close it.

also i reduced my youtube usage.

For me I suspect that I will have to start reconsider MailOnline, Facebook and Instagram

  6. 9gag, Facebook (deleted for a month and unliked something like 1000 pages), Tumblr (where I used to see most of my porn) - be careful guys this is absolutely fucking packed with porn, Instagram, and - not Internet related but computer related - I uninstalled all of my games, partly because I had installed some sex and nudity mods on Skyrim and the Sims and couldn't get them out. Lord dat shit's nasty. YouTube too can be pretty triggering, especially since I'm a huge ASMR fan.

  7. Twitter was a big one, along with other "social" sites like instagram, tumblr, reddit, digg. Honestly, I'm getting too old for some of these sites anyway.

I spend a lot of time on rateyourmusic.com (a fantastic music database site, if anyone's interested). However, since it displays album covers, nudity or suggestive images can pop up randomly. There is a saftey-mode on the site itself, but it can be turned off pretty easily. I just have to be careful.

DeviantArt was another I used to frequent. I enjoyed the forums and the amateur short-stories and poetry on there. And there's lots of good art. But also lots of bad art and porn. Plus links to just about anything else you could want.

Whisper. I've tried to deal with it but sometimes it becomes a HUGE trigger.
