What is a relapse to you? Discussion.

    Hey everyone,

    I have noticed that some of people are confused about what does count as a relapse and what does not count as a relapse so I think I'd like to start a discussion.

    Disclaimer: This discussion is not to judge anyone who has had relapsed or will relapse in the future. I had relapsed before. Thanks for this.

    What is exactly a relapse?

    My definition would be:

    A relapse is when a person experiences a dopamine rush that is felt from watching porn, masturbating and climaxing through an orgasm.

    Of course it's ultimately up to the person to define the definition of relapse so I'm curious to know all of your perspectives on this.

    It depends on the person. For example, I was and am a very heavy addict. On this day, 38th day of being clean, I masturbated. Not to porn, just to release I guess, I was hung over and I just slipped.

    And to me, this feels like a relapse and a huge mistake, because I wanted to go 100 percent without PM. So in my head, I'm pretty much back to square one.

    Watching porn or orgasming while maturbating. I don't edge that just sounds painful. I might as well clean out the pipes
