What percentage of men do you think watch porn?

I think more men watch porn than don't watch porn. Of course talking about countries with internet access/porn access.

Its pretty sad how much porn has progressed at this point. Kids literally get shamed for not watching porn.

 

Yes I believe when guys jack off to instragram etc that the same thing is happening in the brain and it is the same behaviour as when they jack off to what is categorized as pornographic content.

I honestly believe an obscene number of males will watch porn and jack off to it. I believe much more males will watch porn and jack off to it than what won't watch it and jack off to it.

I honestly believe the number of guys trying to stop doing it will be tiny compared to the number of guys that are doing it and not even caring or have hardly gave it much or any thought.

But another question is are all males PMOing in the same way? I can't see how most males are using PMO in the same way.

Statically the guys suffering with erectile dysfunction seems to much lower than the guys not suffering with it, but of course obviously a lot of guys won't even come forward to report it, so they won't have the correct statistics.

But I don't know, when I go out in the world the amount of young boys, young guys, men you see with women, dating women, in relationships etc. I can't see how it is the case that they are all suffering with erectile dysfunction, or a high percentage of them are suffering with erectile dysfunction.

So if most of these guys are PMOing, yet they don't have ed, they're still getting laid etc. It basically indicates to me they must be doing something different from the guys that do have ed, pied caused by their PMO usage.

Do they maybe just not PMO enough, or PMO in a different way, so no or hardly any edging, binging, so this has caused them to not develop pied yet?

Is it maybe because they're still engaging with real women? They're still sexually active with real women, and this sexual conditioning is causing them to still be able to perform in real sex?

I definitely think most guys will PMO to some extent, yet a lot of them are still getting laid. So if they're still getting laid, they're still able to have sex. So they must be doing something different. But I am not 100% sure what it is. It could be a number of different things that they're doing different from a lot of guys that do have pied, that can not perform in real sex.

 

I think guys with girlfriends, won't suffer with pied. You won't jack off as much because you have her. You also won't watch porn as much because you are more fulfilled with life itself. Your properly go out more because you have a girlfriend. These guys will have sex 3 times a week or more. If you don't have a girlfriend for many years and you P and M, this is where the problem starts. These guys still M but not as much. If you live with her, you less likely to p and m, unless you do it together but normally you watch about 5 minutes and then start having sex

Most guys don't know porn causes ED so they watch as much as they can, I was like this. I regret only after I found out the effects it had on the brain. I had no idea. I thought why not enjoy myself lol. No one knew this was going be a problem, if they did, then they will make the effort to watch less p and m.

I spoke to some guys and they don't want much porn, they do but not as often as some. I was doing 3 times a day, some do one a week or just not often. Some using instinct knows porn is bad, without anyone telling them. I didn't believe it before but some people believe it before the internet came out. Some say it's bad for you but can't tell you why, obviously now we know why.

As addicts we all know that Porn is addictive in nature.
And as human being, we are different to one another but share many characteristics. And the curse of PMO, we should not take it personal. It's one of our major challenges to overcome in this modern world.

 

In my opinion the way a guy PMO's is actually more harmful than the amount.

So think about a guy that PMO's three times in one day and each time lasts 5 minutes before they ejaculate, literally only looking at a few things.

Then another guy has an hour plus PMO edging session, masturbating, flicking about tons of different content, and doing this for over an hour or hours before they ejaculate.

The second one is actually much more harmful, and the second one is more addict behaviour.

I think what we really need to ask ourselves is what percent of guys PMO like the second guy?

Of course guys who PMO like this don't have one session a day though. They usually have multiple sessions like this, day in, day out.

I don't really think in terms of those number or ratios anymore, but more like how someone thinks - and I think what it comes down to is entertaining a fantasy. Same thing with sex. There IS stuff we can do IRL with both but I guess it's just the attitude that you have to be realistic. Not that you can't have aspirations, but you have to get there instead of just stream a movie with the standard playing pretend that goes with it.

Anyway what I'm getting at is it's not all that surprising a large number of guys watch porn. Just like how they talk about things like "food porn" there's action porn and other similar kind of exaggerated things to be consuming. In a way social media is like "friendship porn" even if there's no p-Sub or NSFW content, just by virtue of the fact you might be entertaining the idea you have all these friends but they're all just online and maybe as compulsive with using it etc.

I always assume the men I meet PMO unless they state otherwise

 

I think the difference between porn addicts and casual porn watchers, are that the casuals either have a girlfriend, social life, etc. Something stopping them from binging and becoming like the rest of us. But with the current lockdown, im assuming a lot more men would get addicted.

And theres also the men with an addiction, but don't even know. Like they might be suffering from the effects of it, and may just blame it on something else.

 

good point. I also notice that men who have sisters are less likely to be addicted. They see with their eyes how a girl near their age behave, what their nature is and realize that porn is very fake.

 

I think that many more men have a serious problem than you think. I estimate that in the West at least 10-15 percent of all men of the younger generation are addicts.
