It's not because you actually need to get off, because you don't. Listen to your body and emotions and see what they need.
Recovering can be stressful, or exhausting, or nutritionally and biochemically taxing. Learning to nourish, rest, and work your mind and body properly is a decent part of relearning to live life w/o PMO. The first few weeks are hell.
