    I've posted a poll asking what the first kind of pornography the people on here have watched. I strongly suspect that most here started off with softcore pornography, and I'd like to know if I was right.

    "Softcore" refers to porn where the "actors" (as they call them) are clothed to any degree. "Explicit" refers to porn where the actors are naked, or are engaging in actual sex acts, like masturbation, even if they are clothed. These are how I'm using the terms for this poll. Kissing is classified as softcore.

    I've prevented a person from viewing the results of the poll if they don't answer, because I want as many answers as possible. Sorry, I know that its annoying.

    I really appreciate the idea of this topic but that's not how softcore and explicit works. Softcore is not showing actual penetration whereas explicit shows it. A softcore movie can show implicit penetration but does not show the image of the penis entering the vagina.

    I voted softcore because i was introduced to sexual stuff through sleazy movies on TV - scenes of sex between actors that showed sex/tits/etc and implied penetration. Many Hollywood movies did this and many more do it now. I also watched adult movies during the night, but those were softcore too.

    I know that there are official meanings of the words, but I chose to use them in this way, because I think that it more accurately describes the difference between the various types of porn, based on my own experience, and especially for this poll.
