What You Guys and Gals think about the Ted Bundy Quote

I want to emphasize that this man died in 1989,
so I can't give a precise thought, probably nowadays he could have found all the violence he wants in any porn site

 

He was a very manipulative man. Porn back in his day was a hairy couple spooning with afternoon delight playing in the background. It was nowhere near as violent and degrading to women as today’s porn. Porn doesn’t create murderers, although it can distort ones conception of real intimacy.

 

There’s probably some proof that 80 percent of the entire population consumes porn to the point where it can be considered addiction.

 

Ted Bundy was a psychopath, he would have found whatever excuse in the book to explain away his behaviour and had the charm to do it. That's why he was so successful as a serial killer. I'm not saying that pornography corrupts our behaviour, but to say that it alone could create a Ted Bundy is just not true.

 

The video of this interview is on YouTube. He was being interviewed on the eve of his execution by a Christian psychologist named Dr. James Dobson. You have to remember that Ted was a master manipulator, and everything he's saying is exactly what Dobson wants to hear. This might have been a desperate attempt to delay his execution, or maybe he just wanted to frig the guy around to have one last laugh before he died. Pornography is very harmful to the brain, but I doubt that it has ever turned anyone into a serial killer. I think people like Ted are just born that way.

 

While in no circumstance do I deny the negative psychological effects of pornography and as HumansAreFree mentioned, it has been used many times to subvert the people such as when used against the Palestinians by the zionists.

But I agree with Mr. Kruger on this one, I think that psychopath was trying anything to just delay his execution.

 

I don't think murderers are born. I do think that they are created by circusmstances. I do also admit that pornography could have had some influence on Bundy. But do I believe porn is what made him kill people? Nahh, this ain't it.

 

I agree, porn did not make Bundy a killer. However, many porn addicts have said that as the addiction escalated they did things they thought they would NEVER do. They behaved in ways that completely went against their morality- rape, sexual battery, child porn or escorts, affairs. This addiction causes the addict to lack empathy! Thus making it easy for them to objectify and use people. I doubt that Bundy was born a sadistic rape, torture her psychopath. He may have already had anti social personality/behaviors or mental illness that were then fed and flourished with his porn use.
