WhatsApp or letting NSA, BND and GHCQ know about your NoFap habits

    I don't think I have to elaborate why most of us would prefer to stay anonymous - kudos to those outing themselves for the sake of the greater good. With this in mind, some of you might use messaging outside of this platform and WhatsApp has a habit of storing your communication linked to your phone number and identity on their servers.

    Having said that, did you consider alternative messengers?
    Like:
    "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Government Surveillance (HBO)":



    Encrypting E-Mail is also fun and easy btw:

    If the government snoops know my porn habits, I'd prefer they also know that I've stopped. It paints a more flattering picture in the NSA file.

    One thing to consider is that although the government might have collected conversations about our pornography addictions, if not actual records of the sites we've visited, I don't think they have capabilities to sort through all of that data. And unless you're planning on coordinating a terrorist attack, why would they want to?
