Regulating it to a certain degree allows someone to manage their probabilities, which can translate to the ability to reap benefits from unfavorable odds. Certain situations bring primarily not what we want, but what we need in order to reach the next level. Wise is the one chooses properly, regarding his situation, what might push him forwards instead of longing for instant gratification. He knows progress is greater than temporary contentment, recognition besides luxury.

Discomfort: Redefining the standards of feelings might transform a human being into a cold droid incapable of acknowledging his troublesome nature. Now reaching a safe line between cool, collected and compassionate and devoid of sentiment, which might even become unable to find true joy in seemingly simple things. The way a soldier approaches discomfort can reap benefits otherwise concealed by the civilian mindset.They envision their task not as something that interferes in their free will, these people realize orders received comes from an entity which possibly might get a better grasp of the situation as a whole.
